The pizza tasted super yummy and Dom recommended me a pizza that is now my favorite! I will 100% be coming back soon! He deserves a raise ASAP (please consider giving him the raise he deserves)!”

“The food and ambiance at this restaurant were exceptional. We celebrated Mother’s Day, and the pizza was delicious overall. The starters were burrata and fried ravioli. Both of which were delicious. We ordered a traditional think crust and a Detroit style pizza. However, I found the Detroit-style pizza to be excessively doughy. I understand it’s a thicker style, but it was a bit too much. Our server, Kyle, was attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful time enjoying a lovely dinner here.”

“I worked for Francesca’s, the Italian restaurant, for over 12 years and loved the food there. When I ate I Sonny’s, I told the owner that the chopped salad and pasta that I had at Sonny’s was better than Francesca’s 100%. The dressing on the salad was unmatched, and the bolognese sauce had such depth to it, it was insane. Thanks Sonny’s!!”

However it seemed as if the lettuce and tomato overpowered the steak/ beans & cheese? Not quite sure but something was off with the lettuce ? It did seem to be the typical shredded lettuce I've had in other burrito's?”

“Great beers (as usual). Tonight’s review is for the featured “food truck” experience the Counting Crow. Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. Given their excellent reviews, was excited to taste. Nope. Didn’t realize their posted 5-7 limited quantities meant exactly that. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again”

“Went to La Hacienda de Roselle for lunch/dinner. Best place ever for Mexican food. They give you so much food and it is very inexpensive. The staff there is friendly and you get great service. I can't say enough how great the food is. Best Mexican Restaurant in all of the Suburbs of Illinois. It deserves 5 Stars and even more! Love it there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our visit. The steak was especially impressive—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The horchata exceeded expectations and was one of the best I’ve had. The salsa was also a standout, offering great flavor without being overly spicy.

The only small downside was that the fountain drinks did not include refills. Aside from that, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely come back again.”

“We always have a great time at this Brunch Cafe. The food is phenomenal and comes out really quickly, they must have a fantastic kitchen staff. I usually get the chicken fried steak and it’s great. A couple of the older servers could be a bit more friendly, but we always go during their weekend rush so it’s understandable. It gets pretty packed on Saturdays and Sundays but it’s worth the wait. Reasonable prices.”

“I've been coming here for the better part of 25 years and it's always been the best in the area for Chinese food. Crab Rangoon is delicious, potstickers are fried and unique, all the Chinese takeout staples are top notch. I hope they never change! Maybe add a credit card machine, but I think the small family owned restaurant cash only joint is part of the charm!”

“My husband and I randomly stumbled across Five Spice Kitchen one date night and it quickly became my favorite restaurant. We've celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries here and love bringing people to try the great food. Everything we've tried is absolutely delicious! Christina and Betti are always so warm and welcoming and the rest of the staff is very attentive as well. When you're done with your delicious meal, walk past the partition to Cloud Tea for some boba!”

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!”

“Lively place which is visually lovely!! Great artwork and fantastic ceilings with lights! Went on a Saturday night around 6 and very thankful we had a reservation. When we left two hours later there were still people pouring in!
We started with guac which was delicious and fresh- chips were an unspectacular but the flavors in the guac hid it well. House margarita was large and good- could have been better-but still decent for the price. I had the combo platter which included a taco, tostada, enchilada and tamale along with beans and rice. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious (still good reheated the next day). Service could have been more attentive but not taking off a star for it because the food was that good!
Definitely utilize the valet- parking is tricky.”

“it is always a great experience at the Roselle DQ. but I have to give a huge shoutout to their employee tonight. She was working so hard to fill the orders as fast as she possibly could! Tony check your shifts from 5/4 this evening. I think she said her name is Haley. She was an outstanding employee. I know the world is understaffed and she could have easily been frustrated at the never ending line, but she was working so hard and I just thought you deserved to know what a great job she was doing. I just thought she deserved a little shoutout!”

The manager Kathy helped us navigate the menu for food allergies, and was super helpful.

The smashy melt on sourdough with tater cakes was tasty. They were essentially mashed potatoes in tater tot form.

I had a chopped salad and they were happy to switch out the blue cheese for feta.

The only downside was that our Cubs were losing the game.

And they were featured on screens throughout the restaurant.

But we enjoyed that our booth had a personal sized TV screen right there for us to enjoy.”
