They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. And EVERYONE will ask over and over if everyone is there and demand it. If they are not counting the amount you had on your reservation, they will rebute it against you. The asking and verifying the party can be done in a more respectable manner.I understand that they want to turn the tables as quick as possible, but the customer service can be applied to make it less aggressive.”

“First time here with friends. This is a very popular place so reservations are highly recommended. Tables are very close together and is somewhat loud. The service was good but not as attentive as I would have liked. The food is phenomenal! We started out with Bang Bang Shrimp. It's an explosion of flavor with a touch of heat over a bed of shredded lettuce. They serve warm bread with an oil dip of a pesto, but it did not have pine nuts in it. It is important because my husband is allergic. My husband had a fliet with shrimp scampi, the 2 sides were asparagus and potatoes au gratin. They were very crispy and flavorful. My grilled scallops and shrimp were delicious in a lemon butter that was more like a thicker dipping sauce. I had the cole slaw and jasmine rice. Both were excellent! The other person had mahai fish. Everyone was happy with their selection. I had a glass of wine. No desert this time. Another tip:if you have an AARP card, they offer 10% off the entire bill. We we be back!”

Arrived at 0649, departed 0915. Had a short wait for a door (they call you). The docks near the entrance are pretty tight (other trucks lined up and parked) but I was lucky to get one of the doors in the back. There is a little more room back there. Last night I stayed at a truck stop in Gary, Ind I 80/I 94 X 6. Paid for reserved parking because I needed an end spot for my dog stairs. There were open spots when I came in around noon.”

“This was the first time i've gone to a Dunkin Self-Serve Location. Everything's self explanatory and very easy to handle. They offer iced coffee, hot coffee, iced tea, hot chocolate, donuts and bagels with sides of whipped cream refrigerated behind it. Along with that they have cream, skim milk, sugar and a good variety of syrups. From what I remember they mocha, vanilla, and caramel with some other ones. They had whipped cream as well but I do not recommend using it because it was not stored properly and had gone bad by the time I tried using it. I got an iced coffee and iced tea and both were good and tasted just like drinks from an actual Dunkin. This is a good Dunkin to try out, easy and fun. I would recommend it to anyone who prefers to customize their coffee.”

The previous times i came here—Saturday 1/21 and Sunday, 1/22---were both great, too! On Saturday, I had the Dragonball Tea; on Sunday, the Grapefruit Lychee Jelly Tea--I'd definitely order both again! I haven't been to a tea house in about 6 or 7 years when I used to make the schlep to Highland Park to Billy Corgan's tea house, Madame Zuzu's! Umbrella Tea House is, so far, the absolute best I've ever been to (closer to home, not as pricey, better ambience, younger/more interesting clientele)! The tea selection is huge and interesting, the ambience is hip and surreal (loved the beautiful, trippy, lit up enchanted forest decor inside, plus the small comfy couch seating in the back, along with all the anime figures on the counter...So very COOL!!! The employees who work here are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! Last, the clientele here is young, diverse and very cool without any pretension--I hung out for 2 hours each visit, loving my awesomely flavorful, relaxing tea and digging the surreal, chilled out vibe of the place and the atom collider of Millennial/Gen Z-ers who flooded the place after I came in each time! You could people watch all day! The first time I came in, a young dude with a long denim dress came in! Today, 4 Pakistani dudes with long black beards in traditional gown-like outfits came in! It was all too cool to see such diversity in 1 spot each time! Definitely coming back a few million more times!!”

The sandwich was served with some packages of ketchup and it added a nice tangy acidity to the sandwich. I enjoyed the crisp bread and the veggie fillings as well.Also ordered the samosa chaat and surti gotalo. Both had a nice portion. I enjoyed the samosa chaat with all the different veggies on top. The surti gotalo I ordered with roti…overall was just ok for me, I enjoyed the fried eggs on top, the shredded/chopped hard boiled eggs were subtle in flavor compared to the other items I tried.I like that they’re open late and have a number of tables and booths to dine in.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of egg centric dishes as well as other vegetarian dishes offered.Parking: Large parking lot for a strip mall, but it can be very busy since it is shared with the Patel Brothers grocery store.”

Everything was bursting with flavor, the shrimp tasted very fresh. They make their own homemade sauces and what a bonus to find they carry other options like wings tenders, desserts, mac n cheese and much more. So glad to know we now have this jem in the neighborhood. I will be a returning customer for sure!”

“Yum! This place is really good! Tried it for the first time today for dine in. We had the Olympian Pitas with fries and the Greek potatoes. Very fresh food. It took about 10-15 minutes and everything was definitely prepared fresh. The seasoning was spot on, not salty, not greasy. The fries were so tasy and the pita was nice and fluffy. You can tell they actually care when putting together your meal. For a quick delicious Greek meal I would highly recommend. Service was also excellent, the manager was friendly and greeting customers picking up takeout orders.”

We initially intended to order some non-vegetarian entrees, but the prolonged wait for the first set discouraged us. It's impressive that the owner and chef single-handedly manages the kitchen, but expanding the team could enhance the overall experience. Bravo to him for his dedication.”

As I was in the dining room waiting for my food Tuesday evening, one of the workers appeared to have had a medical episode and seemed to have collapsed. I have to commend the staff and particularly the managers for their quick response and handling of the situation. I believe they stopped taking orders so all employees would be available to help if need be. I don’t know what the policy is on responding to an emergency but the staff deserves more than a pat on the back for their responsiveness and their very clear concern, they probably saved that kids life. It was so delicious that I could probably drink several of those at once! The last thing I tried was the Khasta Kachori. My husband and I both really enjoyed it as a snack! “This is my favorite place for frozen yogurt. Over the past 10 years I've visited many locations, all of which started to decline and inevitably close (Glenview, Park Ridge, Deerfield, Mount Prospect). Schaumburg has been the most consistent location over the years. Algonquin was always pretty good too but my last visit the froyo was watery. I know there are Bloomingdale and Downers Grove locations but I haven't been to those. The location is very clean and although there are typically kids running the locations, the store is always well kept and the toppings station is always full and clean. The froyo is always great, and they always have good flavors. Their machines are typically full. And like I've mentioned always consistent. I've been turned off by other froyo shops where the froyo is priced by the ounce and the froyo comes out of the machine like frozen or watery slush and just a small amount weighs a ton, so you're paying more for less, not to mention not enjoyable froyo. The Schaumburg location the consistency of the yogurt is always spot on. It's never watery, too icy/slushy or bland. I truly believe this location takes pride in their shop. I hope they stay in business forever!”

After we asked for a wine glass the waitress said that they are using a regular glasses as a wine glass. She did exchange it for a wine glass but when I ordered a second glass she did bring me a dirty glass. Her words was: “it is your lipstick in a glass and I used your previous glass for wine”. I’m sorry but it is not a free refill and I’m paying for another glass of wine and I would like to have a clean glass.
