great food. bit of a wait but worth it. fresh crispy tempura with a sweet tendon sauce. the udon has a beautiful smokey broth with great noodles, add a bit of their onikasu for a bit of spice and extra flavor.
Tempura Man at 1606 E Algonquin Rd in Schaumburg is an absolute gem! I ordered the Tempura Udon and it was one of the best bowls I’ve had in a long time. The jumbo shrimp was perfectly crispy, the corn kakiage added amazing texture, and the broth was rich and comforting. Every bite was delicious. Highly recommend!
All other ramen pales in comparison to Chicago Ramen Annex. The Jiro style Ramen is amazing, the appetizers have been outstanding. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
