“Rosario’s is one of those local spots that just never disappoints. We started with the arancini, which were so good; crispy, flavorful, and honestly, I just wish there had been more of them.

For drinks, I had a glass of wine while my partner ordered the smoked Manhattan, which was such a fun experience with the smoker presentation. It tasted very similar to an Old Fashioned, but still really enjoyable.

For dinner, I ordered the mostaccioli with arrabbiata sauce (and I love that they actually call it mostaccioli instead of penne). The sauce had a great kick to it and was packed with flavor; definitely a standout. My partner got the chicken piccata, which was also really well done.

We also couldn’t leave without ordering a small Chicago stuffed sausage pizza. We’ve been here before just for this, and it’s consistently incredible. As people who have literally done a Chicago pizza tour twice, we both agree this pizza holds its own against some of the most well-known spots. The cheese is rich, the sauce has a nice spice, and everything just works.

On top of all that, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love having a place like this in the neighborhood.“

“This is a five star overall and in every category rating. After reading reviews on all sites I thought I’d give Joe’s a try. Their site indicated fresh ingredients, fresh dough, and outstanding service. It’s true! This is not a chain…as in everything tastes the same, pizza. The sauce is fresh and not overly salted or seasoned; you taste the tomatoes, the sausage, the green peppers and the onions! It was risky because I ordered this for New Year’s Eve for a group, (even tho I’d never had it) but all loved it. I had to laugh thinking about others’ reviews that note it tastes different-that’s because they haven’t had fresh ingredient pizza in so long. The owners (I assumed) were fun and kind and the cozy/small pick-up makes you feel like you are in another country-Italy. “We like it here, especially because they are patriotic. Although the lady touching our slices with her bare hands put me off. I mean she is touching everything, the counters, doors, registers and then picked our slices up. You can spread viruses that way. Please wear gloves.“

This is the very best Jet’s location I have ever tried, and I’ve had many. Ingredients are the same at all locations, but the way they prepare it is done to perfection! Perfect crust crunchiness, cheese and sauce portion and freshness are excellent. Fabulous pizza!
