“My kids and I love coming for breakfast to this mcdonalds we are sure gonna miss coming now that they are in school.. on one occasion we experienced a extremely rude customer start yelling at manager and she controlled the situation very professionally, needless to say my kids saw that and they were disgusted at how this 40ish yr old man was acting, but they also appreciated even more at how the manager kept her composure. “We read about Joe Doughnut Itasca and thought we would give it a try…pulled up to a Shell gas station?!? Wow we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. Met the co-owner, wonderful lady with passion for this place. Can’t believe it has been open for over 2 years. Great kept little secret. Will be back to try more of the menu!“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“As a person with food allergies this is the place to go! They are very careful, have things well marked and a whole binder of information if you need further details. They cary standard items that are gluten free (GF), daily free (DF), vegan (V), and nut free (NF). You can order from their show case, off their menu, or even take home things already prepared in their cooler off to the side. Check it out! The staff is great, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is a very chill vibe.“

“Stopped here for lunch. The establishment was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Great variety of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and quick. The ham and cheese croissant, pistachio spiral croissant, and iced hazelnut latte were very good. My only complaint would be that it is a little pricey but that wouldn’t stop me from eating there again or recommending to others.“
