2yr update:Baked goods, pastries, and breads are the star of the show at Beatrix, we have come back for years for that heavenly cinnamon roll - I recommend heating it up in your oven with cream removed for maximum crispness. Cornbread and pie were also exceptional.IMHO, entrees are lacking. Paid $24 for two small fish tacos, flavors didn’t come across as impressive. Fried chicken was also small, needed more honey in the sauce. I like the enchiladas.
Chicken Bebe is tasty but skimpy 2 asparagus stalks and nothing else.... For $19.95?? And then charging 3% more for standard restaurant overhead? Not a good deal. Lower prices and/or add rice or potatoes and a little more asparagus to the order. It's a pretty cheap stable. Seems like every restaurant is taking advantage of LA new minimum wage law. Homes here are not same price range as LA.

We've been to Beatrix a number of times. The service is always good but for me, the morning menu is just limited. We love the environment there but of the times I've eaten there I've basically ordered the same thing each time. Would be nice if they entertained expanding their choices.Parking: Parking SUCKS, plain and simple!
