“We read about Joe Doughnut Itasca and thought we would give it a try…pulled up to a Shell gas station?!? Wow we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. Met the co-owner, wonderful lady with passion for this place. Can’t believe it has been open for over 2 years. Great kept little secret. Will be back to try more of the menu!“

Also got an iced Dubai mocha. Omg it's so good. My friend got the iced matcha and it's one of the better ones I've had. My experiences here have been the best in a long time. The inside is clean and well organized and the staff works really hard to take care of all their customers. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the customer service is at this Dunkin’! I’m not sure if the gentleman who is usually at the drive-thru window is the manager or the owner, but he is absolutely phenomenal. He goes above and beyond every time, and what means the most to me is how kind and patient he is with my dog, who can be reactive and protective. That level of kindness and understanding is rare to find these days, and it truly goes a long way. It’s not just about coffee here—it’s about community, and that’s exactly what he brings. “The soft-spoken woman who makes the cakes at this location is one of the kindest people I've encountered in a food service setting in my whole life. I cannot reconcile the negative reviews posted here with my experiences at all. This month, I spent $100 at this specific location on two separate custom orders (cakes, etc), and they did a *perfect* job. They will continue to get my business.“

“The store is managed by a couple of individuals who handle all aspects of the business, from taking orders to packaging and prepping the food.

Everything felt just right up until we ordered a pack of donuts. One of the employees began packing donuts in a haphazard manner, stacking multiple donuts into a single box, they could hardly fit into the box— quite clumsy and unhygienic!

With that said, the cappuccino we ordered was prepped sooner than we knew it and tasted great.

“The Dunkin’ on Northwest Hwy in Mount Prospect is always outstanding. The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and everything is consistently fresh. I usually stop by in the evening, and I’ve never been disappointed. The drive-thru runs smoothly, the team works efficiently, and nobody beats the coffee at this location. Excellent customer service every time.“

“If I had a negative marking they deserve that. The employees do not know how to avail a deal from DD app. I was not able to use my promo deal and the employee had no idea about it. The company should train their workers to use the app before asking customers to download it. Failure of the training.“

“This location is very accommodating! The food was a bit more crispy/almost burnt, but I see they were busy with online orders. We bought a milk and the seal to the cap was broken so they gave us a new one. There was also a mix-up with the type of sandwich we ordered and the owner personally got us the right one! Now that’s what good service is! I’m not sure I’d come back unless the owner is here lol but hey I will still give them 5 stars.“

“This Dunkin’ order was a great change of pace and turned out to be a really enjoyable combo. I started with an iced matcha latte made with almond milk, and it was smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced—not too sweet and very easy to drink.
The croissant stuffers with chicken and roasted pepper were a pleasant surprise. Flaky on the outside with a savory, well-seasoned filling, they felt more substantial than a typical grab-and-go item. I also picked up an apple fritter, which was rich, satisfying, and perfect if you’re in the mood for something classic and comforting.
To round it out, the avocado toast added a lighter, fresh element to the order and made the whole meal feel complete rather than just snacky. Everything came out fresh and exactly as expected.
Overall, this was a well-balanced order that showed off a different side of Dunkin’. Definitely a combo I’d order again.“

“Literally the best Dunkin' around this area. They get your order correct everytime. Don't let that line around the building fool you, they are fast and accurate. I've been here several times and have not had any issues. Staff is always polite.“
