My friend and I were having a mom date and were looking for a place to stop buy for some coffee and ended up at this welcoming establishment . We loved the tasty options - I had a delicious chocolate croissant and a salted caramel latte. It was absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to go there again!
This is a wonderful cafe with friendly staff and great ambiance, not to mention great coffee and delicious food. Support this local business, you won’t be disappointed.

Two Libras Café is a beautiful, unique, and charming place in downtown Palatine, tucked away off North Bothwell Street with a distinct alleyway setting that feels like a hidden discovery. This European-inspired café and bakery brings warmth and combines Eastern European culinary touches with an upscale coffee house vibe. The interior is bright, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out, balancing communal seating and study-friendly nooks with a separate private room suitable for small meetings. There are lots of comfortable seating areas and an adorable outdoor patio. Everything is clean and comfortable. The quality and presentation of the food is top notch, and the owner takes pride in not only the food and drinks but the whole experience. The chia pudding and grilled feta salad are excellent, and the vegetarian baguette is so good. An assortment of treats including mini lemon cheesecakes, cookies, and mini baguette slices topped with avocado, tomato, prosciutto, and more was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The coffee is great. Pricing is reasonable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This little gem is highly recommended.
