The whole family loves this place. They have daily specials with great bar food. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of TVs around to watch whatever games happen to be on. Even the little league world series apparently.
Came in for the first time with my Daughter and we had a wonderful time. Great food. Lots of fun.
We’ve been coming here for quite a while, and it’s disappointing to see how much the experience has changed. We used to receive great service and consistently enjoyed the food, which is why we kept coming back.
Unfortunately, our recent visits have been a different story. Today was especially frustrating. We ordered wings for pickup, and they tasted like they were barely cooked, while the popcorn was stale, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. The...read full review

Rookies Sports Bar & Grill is a casual eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is a highlight, with options like the chx sandwich and grilled cheese being popular choices. The fries are also a hit. The restaurant can get loud, especially during Cubs games, but the staff is generally friendly. Despite some minor issues, the food at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill remains a major draw.
Customers enjoy the daily specials, especially the $.99 wings with a drink purchase, which are a favorite for many, especially after practice for the roller derby teams that frequent the place. The large dining room features many televisions, creating a lively environment, and the sizable bar offers plenty of seating. There is also a nice outdoor seating area with a fan and TV, perfect for relaxing outdoors. When seated, customers are provided a bowl of popcorn, which is crunchy and adds to the experience. The restaurant has several booths with individual TV screens and many tables in the center of the room. Additionally, there is a video gambling gaming area. The waitstaff is praised for their attentiveness and promptness in taking orders and serving food. Customers highly recommend the chicken wings, side salads, burgers, sandwiches, and the Saganaki appetizer (half-off on Wednesdays). The owner is appreciated for their efforts, though some feel the lady manager could smile more, as she sometimes gives off negative energy. The restaurant is well-maintained and kept clean, making it a welcoming place to enjoy good food and drinks.
