“Stopped in for a first visit. Julianna was cleaning as we entered and immediately stopped to greet us. The display was bright and appetizing, offering a nice variety of baked treats. My partner chose gelato, but he was torn between a snack and their hot food items (which sounded very interesting to try)!!! Juliana had the heated patio nice and inviting, and she had great energy. We felt welcomed and eager to plan our next visit!! Five-star for sure!!“

“We were pleasantly surprised! However, on the website it says some locations have Semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies on Thursdays…if this location had those I’d be here every day. The milk chocolate was just okay, not the best because milk chocolate doesn’t balance out the cookie. That’s why crumbl chocolate chip is bad. Semi-sweet chips are always the better choice! Please bring them to Mt. Prospect! (Not sure why they wouldn’t just be on the menu in the first place and every day, not just Thursdays?) Thank you!“

“This is the best Japanese bakery around. I have been coming here for years. The bread is so delicious you can eat it by itself and it is also the perfect bread for sandwiches and even French Toast. “I had this cake delivered. It was excellent, on time, box it came in felt so expensive and rich! I couldn’t wait to open the box! Cake was very light, mousse was not overly sweet, just right. The cake was the smallest one they have but it’s reasonable. 4 of us had a slice and there was still a small piece left over. I can’t wait to try more from this place!“

“Paris Baguette is one of the best pastry places around. While the do have multiple locations around Chicago and it's suburbs, the products they serve are top notch. They have many drinks from simple coffee beverages to more extravagant ones. Paris Baguette also offers full cakes and some cold sandwiches for a quick lunch. All in all, worth a drive to experience what they have to offer.“

I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences. “My first time here. I had the chicken empanada and 2 of the corned beef roll and a large ube matcha latte. I asked them warm of these items for me since I was here during my lunch time. And the lady was so nice and was more than happy to heat them up. The empanada was the most perfect empanada I’ve had in a long time. The crust was o flaky and buttery! The corned beef roll was perfect, just enough filling. And of course the ube matcha latte was perfect. Ambiance is great! I highly recommend LASA! ❤️“

“Placed an order for a firefighting themed cake for my brother with such a short notice through Miri Cakes but they still were able to accommodate me! Service at Miri Cakes was beyond wonderful. The chocolate fudge flavor in the cake was phenomenal and super delicious 😋 I was supposed to pick up the cake at a certain time but plans got rearranged so I needed it 2 hours earlier then scheduled time and they STILL made it happen! Definitely will be recommending this place to lots of friends/family. Think this might be my new go to spot for custom cakes!“

“I recently ordered a cupcake decorating kit through their curbside pickup to send to my sisters and brother-in-law. I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time. I'm really looking forward to trying their baked goods in person one day!“

“Best conchas around! I’ve been eating conchas since I was a little girl, I’ve moved around my whole life and lived in another state, this panadería by far has the best conchas and my Hispanic family agrees. They are so soft and stay soft for days. No stale concha here! The conchas are smaller, but it makes the bread to sugar topping ratio perfect! No they don’t have tongs, but they have gloves and it’s not that serious. I think it’s very affordable, but if some might feel it’s more expensive, let me say, that for the quality it’s worth it. The pan is always fresh and the staff are always friendly. They do have marranitos, but they sell out fast and by the way they’re also delicious!“
