“I had this cake delivered. It was excellent, on time, box it came in felt so expensive and rich! I couldn’t wait to open the box! Cake was very light, mousse was not overly sweet, just right. The cake was the smallest one they have but it’s reasonable. 4 of us had a slice and there was still a small piece left over. I can’t wait to try more from this place!“

“I do think these are the best donuts in Chicago area, or that I've ever had, specifically the glaze and the chocolate. I'm from Texas and have high standards for simple yeast donuts. The Chicago area is really lacking in independent donut shops, so when I found these, I was so happy. I found the original D&Ds location a couple of years ago, but was happy when this location opened as it's closer to me. There is a very professional and kind young man that we've seen work the register at the shop a couple of times, and the owner always offers up samples to newbies, so the service here is great. The food and service are truly 5 stars.
The only downfall of this place is, as other reviews have mentioned, there have been multiple times I've tried to come during business hours, and they are unexpectedly closed for the day. And I'm left heartbroken. To avoid this, I would definitely call before heading there. I won't stop going because I truly believe in their product, but I definitely won't head there unless I've confirmed they're open.“

“Delicious! I grew up in des plaines near this bakery and always drove by it but never noticed. My fiance did when we came to visit my family. After a few visits, we finally decided to stop by. I’m glad we did! The place is cozy, almost feels like a cute European cafe. We bought a variety of tiramisu flavors, and the honey cake. They were all so good and fresh tasting. “Paris Baguette is one of the best pastry places around. While the do have multiple locations around Chicago and it's suburbs, the products they serve are top notch. They have many drinks from simple coffee beverages to more extravagant ones. Paris Baguette also offers full cakes and some cold sandwiches for a quick lunch. All in all, worth a drive to experience what they have to offer.“

“I had such a wonderful experience at this bakery! I tried four different cake slices: mango, red velvet, chocolate, and tiramisu, and every single one was delicious. The mango slice was fresh and flavorful, the red velvet was soft and perfectly sweet, the chocolate cake was rich and decadent, and the tiramisu was absolutely amazing.

The lovely lady at the counter was very kind, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better. The bakery itself was very clean, cozy, and welcoming.

“My grandpa ordered cookies from The Cookie Garden for my grandma and mom every Valentine’s day for as long as I can remember. After he passed away last summer, my sister and I decided to keep the tradition going and surprise them. They both had flavor preferences and I was unable to remember them. I emailed them to see if they’d be able to look up his past orders. I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences. The cookies were amazing as usual and my grandma and mom were surprised when they found out who sent them. Thank you so much to Jeannie and The Cookie Garden! 💕“
