“My grandpa ordered cookies from The Cookie Garden for my grandma and mom every Valentine’s day for as long as I can remember. After he passed away last summer, my sister and I decided to keep the tradition going and surprise them. They both had flavor preferences and I was unable to remember them. I emailed them to see if they’d be able to look up his past orders. I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences. The cookies were amazing as usual and my grandma and mom were surprised when they found out who sent them. Thank you so much to Jeannie and The Cookie Garden! 💕“

“Wow! We had the best time yesterday at Crave Cookie Lombard! My two children wanted to try it out so we went in. First impressions, it’s very clean and welcoming! We tried the Dubai strawberry cup, the cookie milk shake and a loaded soda! All were very delicious. It was the best loaded soda I’ve ever had! Our host the owner’s niece took the extra time to talk with us and told us a little bit about the family business. She even gave us free samples of warm chocolate chip cookies! They were so yummy! We will be supporting this lovely business and will be back!“

Even though she was busy with an order I also saw her greet other customers as soon as they came in the door as well. The service was quick. The store was kept clean! Crave Cookie in Mount Prospect has become my kids and I favorite cookie store!! :)“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“My favorite birthday cake that I’ve ever had! Decorated beautifully and tasted great. The frosting had just the right amount of sugar and was so smooth and the best frosting I’ve ever had! The cake was very moist. The macarons on top were also very good! The strawberry macaron tasted like a fresh strawberry. I will order all my cakes from her in the future!“

“The bakery / coffee shop is wonderful! It’s a very cute little shop with a few nice tables to sit down and have a coffee at. The employee / owner was very kind and provided great service! The coffee was delicious and the croissant was wonderful. We got a few of the different tiramisu flavor slices to go! I recommend this cute shop :)“

“I've been coming here for 2 years and this place is absolutely amazing❤️ the cookies are amazing and the staff is always super friendly and professional. There hasn't been a time that, I've been in here, where they haven't been putting out fresh stuff, which is wonderful. This place is always super clean and you can get your order pretty fast. You can order through the kiosk or you can ask someone to help you. The only downside to this place is, it's a bit expensive💰 but I've never been disappointed with the products, so it's definitely worth it❤🕺 P.S. sorry, it took me two years to put up a review, it's just because, I haven't been putting up much reviews, but I'm catching up🤷‍♂️👍“

“Stopped here for lunch. The establishment was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Great variety of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and quick. The ham and cheese croissant, pistachio spiral croissant, and iced hazelnut latte were very good. My only complaint would be that it is a little pricey but that wouldn’t stop me from eating there again or recommending to others.“

I ordered a cake for a med school graduation that looked like a doc white coat and she knocked it out of the park! “Never been to this location, but I’ve been to another one and I love it. I walked in at 8 30, 1/2 an hour before they close and they had already put away all of their stock so I walked right back out. I have worked at bakeries and the food industry and typically that is the last thing you do for night’s cleanup 🤷🏻‍♀ Behind me, a couple walked in into the exact same thing and then another. Guess it’s loss of business for them. It’s unfortunate.“

“Do not miss a chance to get a sub from this wonderful shop attached to the bakery here. The ladies inside were very friendly and welcoming and the sandwich was a 10 out of 10. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, I even watched her snip a few basil leaves off their basil plant in the front window for my sub. Just a really fantastic little shop. “Awesome little bakery! I wanted to try a black forest cake - which I can't say for sure I'd ever tasted before - before possibly attempting to make one for myself. After some Googling, scrutinizing reviews, and learning that this place is located only ~20 minutes away from me, I set my sights and was not disappointed. I ordered the smallest one, which is plenty big for only me and proved to be delicious! I hope to return in due time to try the Gateaux au Chocolat. Also picked up a slice of cheese cake for my mom, who said that it was delicious and had a lemon tang.

While I'm glad that I went on a Sunday, the parking lot isn't _that_ small. Yes, there is a sushi place next door, and it probably fills up during peak service hours. But there's even more parking a stone's throw away. I've been to dine-in restaurants on the North side with less parking, lol.“
