“Wow! We had the best time yesterday at Crave Cookie Lombard! My two children wanted to try it out so we went in. First impressions, it’s very clean and welcoming! We tried the Dubai strawberry cup, the cookie milk shake and a loaded soda! All were very delicious. It was the best loaded soda I’ve ever had! Our host the owner’s niece took the extra time to talk with us and told us a little bit about the family business. She even gave us free samples of warm chocolate chip cookies! They were so yummy! We will be supporting this lovely business and will be back!“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“I've been coming here for 2 years and this place is absolutely amazing❤️ the cookies are amazing and the staff is always super friendly and professional. There hasn't been a time that, I've been in here, where they haven't been putting out fresh stuff, which is wonderful. This place is always super clean and you can get your order pretty fast. You can order through the kiosk or you can ask someone to help you. The only downside to this place is, it's a bit expensive💰 but I've never been disappointed with the products, so it's definitely worth it❤🕺 P.S. sorry, it took me two years to put up a review, it's just because, I haven't been putting up much reviews, but I'm catching up🤷‍♂️👍“

“I grew up in Western Springs, in a house on the “other side of the tracks”. Almost every Sunday, my father and I would go to Kirschbaum’s for a dozen donuts. Those donuts were sooo good.“

“I do think these are the best donuts in Chicago area, or that I've ever had, specifically the glaze and the chocolate. I'm from Texas and have high standards for simple yeast donuts. The Chicago area is really lacking in independent donut shops, so when I found these, I was so happy. I found the original D&Ds location a couple of years ago, but was happy when this location opened as it's closer to me. There is a very professional and kind young man that we've seen work the register at the shop a couple of times, and the owner always offers up samples to newbies, so the service here is great. The food and service are truly 5 stars.
The only downfall of this place is, as other reviews have mentioned, there have been multiple times I've tried to come during business hours, and they are unexpectedly closed for the day. And I'm left heartbroken. To avoid this, I would definitely call before heading there. I won't stop going because I truly believe in their product, but I definitely won't head there unless I've confirmed they're open.“

I ordered a cake for a med school graduation that looked like a doc white coat and she knocked it out of the park! She sent me a picture the day before and I asked for a small change and she was so kind and heard me out and wanted to make sure her customer felt like they were part of the process!
On top of the cake looking amazing, it tasted amazing! I’ve ordered cakes before from other bakeries and sometimes it’s just aesthetic while the taste is forgotten. Rosie makes sure that it looks good AND tastes good!! Best combo!“

I walked in at 8 30, 1/2 an hour before they close and they had already put away all of their stock so I walked right back out. I have worked at bakeries and the food industry and typically that is the last thing you do for night’s cleanup 🤷🏻‍♀ Behind me, a couple walked in into the exact same thing and then another. Guess it’s loss of business for them. It’s unfortunate.“

“My grandpa ordered cookies from The Cookie Garden for my grandma and mom every Valentine’s day for as long as I can remember. After he passed away last summer, my sister and I decided to keep the tradition going and surprise them. They both had flavor preferences and I was unable to remember them. I emailed them to see if they’d be able to look up his past orders. I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences. “I’ve gotten my daughters birthday cake from here for the last two years and I don’t think I’ll use any else. Gina has been easy to work with and super creative. The cakes were delicious with amazing decoration and detail. Party goers were super impressed and the cost really wasn’t that much more than a basic cake from grocery stores.“
