The empanadas were very tasty. Great proportions for a snack or an appetizer. They could probably even become a meal once you have a full plate. Each empanada was full of flavor. That was quite a treat.
This time I asked for a dozen of cookies. They were very delicious.
I paced myself with each cookie so that the aftertaste would last just a little bit longer. Nice distinct flavor made each cookie stand out.

What an adorable bakery with the option of savory food, too!
We stopped by on a random weekday at 4:00 because my 6 and 7 year old daughters spotted the cute door and windows.
The owner was so kind and friendly and answered lots of questions from me and my girls 😂

Alpacake Artisan Bakery/Peruvian Sandwiches is an incredible local treasure. The food is really good, and the service is phenomenal. The space is small and cozy with a few tables, and the decor is cute and ethnically appealing. The warmth of the service truly stands out.
The empanadas are very tasty, full of flavor, and great for a snack or appetizer. The lomo saltado is packed with flavor, and the pork belly sandwich with pickled onion and sweet potatoes is absolutely nuts. The pork sandwich, with sweet potato like traditionally eaten in Peru, is a must try. The tres leches cake is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and honestly one of the best. The dragon fruit cheesecake is phenomenal, impressive visually with three colorful layers and incredibly delicate in taste. The Peruvian Cookies and a dozen of cookies are very delicious, with each cookie having a nice distinct flavor. The tamales in banana leaves are excellent, and the sweet potato donuts with honey are amazing. The chicha morada and passion fruit juice are also must tries.
This food is worth any wait because everything is made from scratch and to order. Everyone should visit.
