I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time. I'm really looking forward to trying their baked goods in person one day!“

“I got a cloud cake during mother's day and the staff was super nice, they even included something to cut the cake, some candles and a mother's day decoration. The cake was phenomenal.... it was just perfectly sweet and soft. I absolutely recommend that you try something from this place“

That was quite a treat. This time I asked for a dozen of cookies. They were very delicious. I paced myself with each cookie so that the aftertaste would last just a little bit longer. Nice distinct flavor made each cookie stand out. That box of cookies was "a cookie party" And finally, the dragon fruit cheesecake... In one word - PHENOMENAL !!! Impressive visually with the three colorful layers and so incredibly delicate in taste. The dragon fruit cheesecake is a pure JOY to have. I highly recommend this local treasure. “We did our wedding cake and dessert table for 175 through DeEtta’s and everything turned out wonderful! The cake was amazing and turned out exactly like the picture I sent in. Our guests were so happy with everything on the dessert table and there was nothing left at the end! We 10/10 recommend!“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

I was literally one minute from the store. I ordered on my app, pulled into the curbside spot, and someone brought me my order within minutes. “The bakery itself served and they have a rotating selection of pastries. The store is kind of small, so large parties are not recommended. They also have a very good selection of cakes and other food items. They also have coffee and can make things like latte's cappuccinos, expressos ect“

“The absolute best breakfast skillets in the NW suburbs in my opinion. Large,open family appropriate atmosphere. The food portions are very generous and delicious. Staff has always been very friendly and efficient. I always leave feeling quite satisfied and carrying a take out container for another full meal the next day. I’ve also gone to the Saint Charles location where the menu has a few variations but the same great food and service.“

“I was looking for a place to get an edible image and I couldn’t find any where near me to do it. The next option wouldn’t have been online but I wouldn’t receive it until a week and half later. I was blessed to find Hansen’s Edible Photos. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and as soon as we were done speaking she had already completed an image for me to see by email. Once I payed it she sent it out asap . I received it in a day and half. Miss Pam is an angel because she was quick to get my order out and on time and gave me a finished protect we are truly pleased with. We will be ordering from her again! I’ve been eating conchas since I was a little girl, I’ve moved around my whole life and lived in another state, this panadería by far has the best conchas and my Hispanic family agrees. They are so soft and stay soft for days. No stale concha here! The conchas are smaller, but it makes the bread to sugar topping ratio perfect! No they don’t have tongs, but they have gloves and it’s not that serious. I think it’s very affordable, but if some might feel it’s more expensive, let me say, that for the quality it’s worth it. The pan is always fresh and the staff are always friendly. They do have marranitos, but they sell out fast and by the way they’re also delicious!“

“Edited, I got a refund today from the wrong transaction. Had the owner not been hostile he could have confirmed which one it was with me on the phone. Instead I got shorted. Terrible experience today. CHARGED ME TWICE, DID NOT GIVE ME A REFUND! Machine said an error with my card, i called my card company in the store upon their request there are no problems with my card. I was there was there over 50 MIN waiting for them to try to give a refund . Employee very sarcastic and gave me a thumbs up when i said i was going to give bad reviews online. May have to contest it with bank to get money back. Another employee argued with me when i said i was waiting almost an hour. Who argues with customers? I asked for something free for waiting and they acted like they were doing me a favor giving me samples to take home, she said i thought you did keto, I said yes but i can give it to my family. I had bought white bread so obviously someone was eating it. Always liked coming here for the quality of products, but i will never come back. They need to get rid of these two. Talked to the owner today he called me. He was angry and defensive the whole time. He is very rude! Needs to take an anger management class. Didn't even hear out my complaint, but was yelling and said I wasn't welcome back and hung up on me! Believe me I do not want to go back! Where is my refund! Your employees should know the ingredients in your products, what if someone had an allergy and became ill because of wrong information given. I was told the gluten free flour was made from almond flour. Had I not come back in because I forgot something i wouldnt have known that wasnt true. All they needed to do was exchange one bread for another instead of trying to refund me unsuccessfully and then recharging me.“
