“We stopped in and had two coffees, a homemade lemonade drink that was absolutely amazing, and two delicious pastries. One pastry was mushroom and the other was a Mexican pizza, and both were packed with flavor and so fresh. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully made. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a great little spot to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy something unique. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re near Batavia. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“I like crumbl. However, as someone who competed in the Scripps national spelling bee, I just can't ignore the fact that crumble is spelled wrong. I mean, who really knows why they just left of the E. Like is it supposed to be CRUMB L like do I want my cookies to be in Crumbs and then take the L. Im just confused. We were blown away at how friendly the owner is, how cool this place is, and HOW DELICIOUS THE FOOD IS!!! We were told to try the clam chowder and anything with jammy bacon. We tried both things and both were so good! This place reminds me of the TV program, Cheers, because it’s very easy to talk with people; we can’t wait to go back next month :-)“

“The empanadas were very tasty. Great proportions for a snack or an appetizer. They could probably even become a meal once you have a full plate. Each empanada was full of flavor. That was quite a treat. This time I asked for a dozen of cookies. They were very delicious. I paced myself with each cookie so that the aftertaste would last just a little bit longer. Nice distinct flavor made each cookie stand out. That box of cookies was "a cookie party" And finally, the dragon fruit cheesecake... In one word - PHENOMENAL !!! Impressive visually with the three colorful layers and so incredibly delicate in taste. The dragon fruit cheesecake is a pure JOY to have. I highly recommend this local treasure. Next time I plan on visiting ALPACAke for lunch.“

I checked one last time on the secret menu and was excited to see the Dubai chocolate brownie! I’ve been obsessed with Dubai chocolate and was planning to make these brownies tomorrow! I was literally one minute from the store. I ordered on my app, pulled into the curbside spot, and someone brought me my order within minutes. What a great experience, and the brownie was fantastic!“

“Paris Baguette is one of the best pastry places around. While the do have multiple locations around Chicago and it's suburbs, the products they serve are top notch. They have many drinks from simple coffee beverages to more extravagant ones. Paris Baguette also offers full cakes and some cold sandwiches for a quick lunch. All in all, worth a drive to experience what they have to offer.“

“I was looking for a place to get an edible image and I couldn’t find any where near me to do it. The next option wouldn’t have been online but I wouldn’t receive it until a week and half later. I was blessed to find Hansen’s Edible Photos. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and as soon as we were done speaking she had already completed an image for me to see by email. Once I payed it she sent it out asap . I received it in a day and half. Miss Pam is an angel because she was quick to get my order out and on time and gave me a finished protect we are truly pleased with. We will be ordering from her again! “The absolute best breakfast skillets in the NW suburbs in my opinion. Large,open family appropriate atmosphere. The food portions are very generous and delicious. Staff has always been very friendly and efficient. I always leave feeling quite satisfied and carrying a take out container for another full meal the next day. I’ve also gone to the Saint Charles location where the menu has a few variations but the same great food and service.“

“My first time here. I had the chicken empanada and 2 of the corned beef roll and a large ube matcha latte. I asked them warm of these items for me since I was here during my lunch time. And the lady was so nice and was more than happy to heat them up. The empanada was the most perfect empanada I’ve had in a long time. The crust was o flaky and buttery! The corned beef roll was perfect, just enough filling. And of course the ube matcha latte was perfect. Ambiance is great! I highly recommend LASA! ❤️“

“I recently ordered a cupcake decorating kit through their curbside pickup to send to my sisters and brother-in-law. I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time. I'm really looking forward to trying their baked goods in person one day!“
