Eggceptional Cafe Breakfast & Lunch

I've always liked this place, but when I noticed a 2.5 present credit card surcharge for eating here, we aren't going back anymore. The food is fantastic but I'm not paying more for a common business expense. Either raise your prices to cover it or eliminate it. I'll go to other restaurants I know of that don't do this.

This is a hidden gem in Bloomingdale. We love going and everyone is so friendly. The food is great and the menu keeps you wanting to come back and try something different each time. The kids and adults love it! 10/10 recommend!

Service was terrible ever since walking in to the restaurant with little to no greeting, we ordered a veggie eggs Benedict and there was a piece of ham and hair in our food, we told the waiter but wanted to argue with us that some want meat in their food even though we had the veggie option......
So disappointing, will never be back

Been here three times. Each and every time the person I came with was not given all of their order or there were things on it specifically asked not to be. Specifically sour cream. Literally every time I went. They also charged us for a side of bacon that they had forgot to give us with our breakfast that was supposed to be included. Food is mediocre, coffee is pretty good. Staff is hit or miss. Either super friendly or really ghetto. Stopped going here because of the constant mess ups on the food.

I've attempted to order pick-up ahead of time and I still end up waiting 10-20 minutes for my order after I arrive. The staff kept asking if I worked for Doordash when I said I had a pick-up. My intention was to stop by quickly on my way to work, as I don't like Starbucks. The first time I thought it was a fluke but the second time was really frustrating. Not doing that again.

The service was terrible. Waitress was disinterested. Clearly didn’t want to serve us. Food was cold before it made it to the table. Another waitress had to bring it to our server because it was just waiting. Pancakes and French toast were rubbery. Things were wrong with our order. Potatoes were burnt and raw. Very disappointing. Tried to express concern. Server went into back to speak to manager. No one came out. She just discounted the check 10%, despite the fact that a significant amount of order was not edible. Will not return. Trust the reviews.

Perhaps for the early hour in which we visited the place there was not much enthusiasm in the person who served us, however I recommend the place for its warm atmosphere and exquisite food with a taste of home and reasonable portions

The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant. There were a couple mistakes on my order but, I did complicate the order up quite a bit so, no worries there. The hash browns weren't very 'brown', while they were cooked through, I would have preferred it to be a bit crisper and less 'doughy'.

First time here. Definitely will be back, my kids and husband and myself loved it here. Food was good, it was fast. Beyoncé was wonderful kept coming and asking if we needed refills or anything. Loved the music there.

It's okay. Average. Service was great and atmosphere nice.
