Normally, both the food and service are good. That being said, yesterday was meh all the way around. The restaurant was not crowded or loud. My friend asked for separate checks, but our waitress didn't remember that. After we were told the soup choices, I said which one I would order. She didn't remember. We had to ask for the specials of the day — for some reason, they were ALL fish — because our waitress forgot to tell them to us. And on and on for almost everything all night long. I would have understood better if the place was loud and/or busy, but it wasn't. Nevertheless, this was a one off. Usually good food and good service.

We've eaten at Jameson's this year for my birthday, anniversary, and today for Easter. The food is always fantastic and a tremendous value. Jameson's is our kind of steak house. Who has $175 for a tomahawk steak? Not us. I have one complaint that bothers me every time we start our meal. A plate of plain lettuce, maybe with a few shavings of carrot, is not a salad. It's a plate of lettuce. I've been in during the day, and the kitchen added tomato and cucumber to my plate, which I loved. It was very refreshing. Maybe there was an upcharge. I don't remember. Today, I asked for tomato and cucumber in my salad. Our dear waitress returned mortified because the kitchen turned her away. They didn't have tomato and cucumber prepped. They refused my request. What? Really? We tipped our waitress 25%. None of this was her doing. I initially asked to speak to the manager on the floor, and he came to the table, but I told him we were fine. Could you add $1 to the menu to get vegetables on the lettuce? Everybody would ask for that upcharge, so it's a win for everybody. This is the only restaurant I've ever been to that offers lettuce on a plate. Yours in leafy greens, Kevin Spengel p.s. I gave a presentation to Rich Melman. On screen, a head of lettuce was traveling through space, spinning like Earth. He said he usually hates lettuce puns, but loved our presentation and won the business. The flies need to be cleaned out of the lamps. The salads are nothing but lettuce. The amount of plastic used is crazy. Turned into more of a fast food restaurant.

Service has been an issue the last few times we have dined at this location. We were promptly seated but waited over 10 minutes to be addressed by the server. Appreciated our drinks from the bar within a few minutes. But waited 20-30 minutes for soup & once that arrived another a long time for salad. After seated for more than an hour entrees arrived but one meal was missing the fries which the server noted when he delivered the meal but not until 15 minutes later were they received after meal was eaten. Had them boxed to go. Frustratingly we watched tables near us with another server sit after us & receive soup, salad meals well before any of our courses. We enjoy the food so we return but really hope the service significantly improves.

Food was great I got the wrong steak, I ordered and was looking forward to having prime rib but was served a ribeye I told them about it, they were willing to get me the correct one but the ribeye was good and I was with others and didn't want to wait. The ticket said prime rib so not sure how the error was made, but it was still a great steak.

We just left, and it was the worst dinner in a while. Over a year since we were here, the last time had a mouse running around the dinner room.
Tonight, we ordered blue cheese with our salads. Both came out of small containers like skim milk. It had been watered down so much. My wife's sea bass was awful, pressed down like a piece of flounder and dryband tasted nothing like Sea Bass.
We had dessert and coffee, which was served right away, very cold. We asked for a warm-up of the coffee, and after 10 minutes, we were given a top-off of even colder coffee.

Split pea soup and salad were good. Pike bland, bone in strip not good. Veggies cold and overcooked.team seemed very overwhelmed. Manager hid from floor. Baked potatoes were horrible. Sad. Had good experience before but this was the last time I will go there. It needs a wake up call. Whole place is old and tired.

What an unfortunate experience.
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary...
I can say the steaks were good, but that was about it.
The mashed potatoes were rancid. Both mine and my daughter's. Like they were made with spoiled milk or something. Tasted awful and smell made us gag. Peppercorn sauce for the steak had no pepper flavor and just tasted like wine or something. Never got an apology from the manager. Just a terrible experience. $200 I'll never see again. Never coming here again.
Our favorite place for steak. Great quality and fantastic service. Highly recommended!
