Authentic Mexican food. Place for spicy food lovers. Good ambience. Came to know that this is pretty old restaurant in the area and they are still having good crowd inside.

I ordered the Azteca Platter and I couldn't even eat my crispy taco or my flauta because they were falling apart from the other sauces. Our waiter was very attentive I just absolutely HATE throwing out so much food. Chips were good

My teenager and I visited for lunch on a weekday. She ordered the Mexican hot cocoa and I ordered a beer from a local brewery. Our waiter informed us they didn’t have chocolate and left to grab my beer. He returned with two for me to choose from and I chose the beer I ordered. lol
The kiddo ordered the steak taco dinner without lettuce and tomato. I ordered just a single steak taco thinking we’d share the sides.
The steak was so bad. Like, have you ever taken a steak out of the fridge and opened it to discover it might not be good? Like maybe the date and look is ok but the smell is nuh uh? That’s what this steak tasted like…but I’m super sensitive. My gut can’t handle anything even slightly questionable, so I asked my kiddo (who is going through a growth spurt and eats like a football player in training season right now) and she said it wasn’t good but it didn’t taste like it was bad meat.
Long story short, I ended up having a liquid lunch and didn’t eat my taco. The kiddo ate all three WITHOUT the lime we ordered because the waiter forgot it and didn’t come back until 20ish mins later. (Literally) The rice and beans were a hard pass. My beer from the Lombard brewery had things floating in it. They were out of chocolate on a Monday. It was all old Caucasian folks dining at the restaurant. The meat was past its expiration date and ended up making her sick ??. I should have known better and I blame myself for not running at the first ?.
GO TO THLACO for delicious Mexican food. ?

We had great service the last time the food was great..but do not come here after 9 we where rushed and the rice and beans where small amounts compare to last time which made us feel like we where being rushed out and the check came while we where eating...I really like this place but just dont come after 9pm...but I'll be back!!!

Food was delicious as always but this time the service was much improved. There must be a new manager, and they are doing a great job. We were also serenaded while we ate which was new and fun. Great job.

Have gone here a couple times, this place is awesome! Portions for food will leave you with leftovers, drinks (specifically alcoholic) are tasty, and staff is always friendly.

Special shoutout to Melissa! She remembered our party after the first visit! Knew what we had before, offered different drink/food suggestions, and is an all around great person to be around!

This place is quickly becoming a personal favorite!
