Love it here! Great vibes and delicious food. The steak 😘👌 It was my first time trying Puerto Rican food... and it did not disappoint. Definitely need to try everything on the menu now! 🤩

Business hours are until 8pm, went at 5:26 on a Saturday and door had a sign saying they are closed. Meanwhile it seemed like the worker was sitting at a table talking to other people.
I went to get lunch and place is closed. Only closed sign is posted but no other reason. Wasted my time driving here. Google shows it as being open
Store was close at 7:05pm on a Friday When in it says that they’re open until 8pm on Friday.

Every time i come to this place its closed! can u please update ur google info or change it to permanently closed!!!! Its 4pm on a Saturday!
My wife and I went to Moncho's Cafe today for lunch and were instantly impressed with the quality of the food and service here! We talked for a while with one of the owners (Michael Delgado). Not only is Moncho's a very welcome oasis in the desert of Puerto Rican food in the suburbs, but the quality of the ingredients is top-notch! The arroz con gandules is made without ham for those who are vegan/vegetarian, but the flavor is not lacking in the least. I had a steak jibarito and felt like I was back in Humboldt Park. The amount of garlic used was perfect, and they will leave you wanting more! My wife had the steak empanadas and tostones, and I couldn't keep my hands off of her plate. While the size of the seating area is smaller (around 6 or 7 tables), that lends to the cozy environment while enjoying your meal with good friends or family. The space was perfectly clean (a point of great importance) and I enjoyed the music playing. If you haven't stopped by this place yet, you're missing out!! Go online and order a sandwich for lunch, get some good quality coffee, order a dinner for your family (they close at 8), or just stop by! You won't be disappointed. :) I'm already planning when I'll be back!
Vegetarian options: The Yuca Fries, arroz con gandules, tostones, tropical shakes (batidos tropicales), empanadas, and habichuelas are good vegetarian options
