Great ice-cream

Greg, the assistant manager, engages with the customers and creates an experience that enhances the flavorful and delicious ice cream!

I've always had wonderful experiences at the Skokie and Park Ridge Oberweis locations, so I was looking forward to having the same kind of experience at this branch as well. Unfortunately, this particular visit left a bit to be desired. While nothing was overtly wrong, and the woman behind the counter was efficient, I didn't get the warm, friendly vibe I'd come to expect from Oberweis. It just felt a little less inviting than my usual visits.
I ordered a pineapple milkshake, but it was way too sweet and didn’t have much flavor. I could only take a few sips before leaving most of it. This was a big letdown compared to the other locations, where the milkshakes are delicious and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Best ice cream, malts and always quick super friendly service

Oberweis has some of the best ice cream, period. We haven't visited this Oberweis before but we were in the area and had a taste for some ice cream. There was virtually no one inside on the Saturday afternoon when we visited so our ice cream came out in probably a minute. We each got two different scoops and every flavor was great. It's also a great place for date night!

Quick service and lovely location. There were plenty of tables and some booth seats available.

The ambiance is lovely at Oberweis. A cute cafe with chess on all the tables to make productive use of time while having beverages or ice cream. The fairy and ice cream are famous here and are great in taste.

The very best ice cream in Illinois ❤️🍦 Above review was 3 years ago. I am a long-time customer. Last night I spent $22 on a banana split and mint brownie hot fudge sundae. What a disappointment. The banana split had very few strawberries but lots of plain sauce. The mint brownie sundae was aweful. The brownie was as hard as a rock and tasteless. The sundae had a drizzle of hot fudge. It was definitely not up to Overweis standards. I am looking for another local ice cream shop.

Never been here before. Not a lot of options. Very plain no flavor. Super disappointed. My husband and I threw both o our choices away after a couple bites. Go to Naperville downtown small ice cream shops so much better!
