Went to get ice cream at this store in the late afternoon the lady who was serving also had a shift leader tag had absolutely zero customer service no greeting no manners . Guess you have to be white to be treated better

Like the chocolate milk!

Very nice Oberweisd. I was with a group, and I specifically gave my order to the employee to get a chocolate covered waffle cone with one scoop of espresso chip ice cream and another scoop of coffee ice cream. They ended up giving me a glass bowl of two scoops of espresso bean ice cream only. Completely different from what I ordered. But I was with a group, and they all got what they ordered and didn’t want to embarrass anyone. It’s still a very nice Oberweiss, and if I was by myself, I would’ve told them immediately and had the order changed. Things happen and I still recommend this location. Good air condition, fairly clean; and as usual, have the chess and checkerboards on some of the tables.

Love their ice cream and the people who work there are always friendly! Bring back the margarita ice cream !! By far my absolute favorite

Great ice-cream

I've always had wonderful experiences at the Skokie and Park Ridge Oberweis locations, so I was looking forward to having the same kind of experience at this branch as well. Unfortunately, this particular visit left a bit to be desired. While nothing was overtly wrong, and the woman behind the counter was efficient, I didn't get the warm, friendly vibe I'd come to expect from Oberweis. It just felt a little less inviting than my usual visits.
I ordered a pineapple milkshake, but it was way too sweet and didn’t have much flavor. I could only take a few sips before leaving most of it. This was a big letdown compared to the other locations, where the milkshakes are delicious and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Best ice cream, malts and always quick super friendly service

Oberweis has some of the best ice cream, period. We haven't visited this Oberweis before but we were in the area and had a taste for some ice cream. There was virtually no one inside on the Saturday afternoon when we visited so our ice cream came out in probably a minute. We each got two different scoops and every flavor was great. It's also a great place for date night!

Quick service and lovely location. There were plenty of tables and some booth seats available.

The ambiance is lovely at Oberweis. A cute cafe with chess on all the tables to make productive use of time while having beverages or ice cream. The fairy and ice cream are famous here and are great in taste.
