We love Bakery & Pickle! Our food is always outstanding, good service, and quality cocktails. We love their bartender Cullen. He makes the best drinks in town and will even create something unique based on our tastes. We had so much fun at the bar last night that we skipped our dinner reservations in the dining room and enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the bar. This place is always a good time with great staff, food, and atmosphere. Cullen keeps us coming back for his excellent cocktails!
Head bartender is more interested in telling us about how great he is rather than providing any amount of service. Literally forgot to bring 2 different drinks & routinely would take 20 plus minutes per table visit.

We visited B & P for Valentine's Day. We were excited to visit and share our experience with some friends who have never been here. Unfortunately, they were very unimpressed. Very over priced for what you received. Within 3-5 minutes after receiving our desert we were asked to give up our table. Yes it was V Day, but other tables were still open and nobody was standing in line waiting for a table.

Title: A Beautiful Meal, Ruined by Horrible Service
I rarely write reviews, but after this experience, I felt compelled to warn others about the disastrous service at this bakery and pickle. The food here is genuinely good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. But that’s where the positives end.
Our experience was marred from the moment we were seated. My sister asked our server about the prix-fixe courses, and he responded by rudely cutting her off, saying, “There’s an order to things. No need to rush. Let her choose her drink first.” It was an unnecessarily harsh and condescending way to speak to a guest, especially one who was simply trying to understand the menu.
Throughout the meal, the service only worsened. While we saw the server checking in on the other tables with multiple questions about their meals, he barely acknowledged us. He only asked how everything was once, during the fourth course. Between courses, our water glasses sat empty for 20 minutes, and the table remained unrefilled, which felt like a basic courtesy that was sorely neglected. Then, when the steak arrived, it was cold and the side dish was completely different from what we were told it would be. We waited another 15 minutes to get his attention and let him know, only for him to dismiss our concerns. He insisted that the prix-fixe was different from what we had ordered (though this was never explained to us in the first place) and said he would get the manager—without offering an apology.
The “manager,” who came over 15 minutes later, didn’t introduce himself. He didn’t ask us what went wrong. Instead, he just picked up our plates and offered a digestive drink “on the house” without any context or consideration for my sister’s allergies. When we declined, he simply walked away. We still hadn’t been apologized to for the terrible service.
Finally, after being ignored for so long, we asked for a manager again. The same man returned, saying he didn’t realize it was a “needing a manager type of situation.” His response to our frustration? “I’m sorry you feel that way.” That was it. No genuine apology, no acknowledgment of the poor service or the mistakes made. When he mentioned they were short-staffed because a colleague had experienced a family tragedy, it still didn’t excuse the rudeness and neglect we endured.
This was the first time I’ve ever felt the need to call over a manager in my life, and as a young woman in my early 20s, I’m disappointed to say that I’ve never been treated with such disrespect. I saved up for this meal to treat my sister, and what should have been a special experience was ruined by a lack of professionalism and basic hospitality.
Cullen, the server, and Shane, the manager, have certainly left a lasting impression—unfortunately, not for the right reasons. If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience with thoughtful service to match the good food, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This place may have potential, but it’s clear that customer service isn’t a priority here.

For the price that you pay for their food, the service was horrible. The manager was very incompetent when trying to address a situation. This was our first experience and it definitely will be the last it kind of sucks cause the atmosphere is really cute when you first walk in, it doesn’t seem as if it’s a restaurant and the speakeasy part is nice, but the service does not live up to the hype
A bit pricy but overall a fun experience.

This is such a fun experience!!
We have visited previously for "the experience," but this time, we ordered items off the menu. (BLT, smashburger, roasted broccoli, brownie)
Both times, we loved our dishes and would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to try new foods. Fun for a date night, special occasion, or just because.
I love the decoration from the Edison bulbs to the artwork to the speakeasy aesthetic. The bar is beautiful. The dishes are delicious.
It's definitely worth checking out!!

Such a fun and unique experience I definitely recommend stopping in! Don’t forget the password when you make your reservation or the hostess will make you do a dance or tell a joke so be prepared!
They had a future cocktail of the evening, but also an extensive full bar! The bar itself is beautiful and I would definitely come back just to sit there for cocktails in the future.
The food was delicious even though it’s not a large menu there’s definitely something for everybody.
The main highlight though was our server Kaitlin. She really made the experience exceptional - she was friendly, prompt with her service, offered great suggestions and ensured that we had a wonderful experience for our first time.
The experience was very unique and I highly recommend stopping in - Just don’t forget the password!

Not possible to reliably eat here with dietary restrictions. We were assured our daughter's restrictions could be met when booking our family dinner. We also both called and emailed a reminder before out reservation but arrived to find we were on no one's radar and to be told the kitchen was too busy to do anything to made a meal happen for our daughter.
We tried B&P again 2 years later without our daughter and the food was not what you would expect at an elevated restaurant and the tim No was entirely off with one entree coming out 10 minutes after the other three and then without all elements listed on menu (e.g., what looked like a beautiful catfish sandwich came out without the bay seasoning tartar (took another 10 minutes to get plain tartar after finally flagging a server down) and what was worse is that neither the fish or breading had been seasoned so the sandwich was flavorless. There were also issues with the other dishes compared no out without all mentioned ingredients,, and the bread service was really all the was as you would expect. Service was almost non- existent which made the experience much worse.

Elton and Logan gave the most. This is the most sensual and alluring version of a song. The lyrics of this windswept beauty are the most serene in all the land. Please keep providing the services that you known for. Behind that book on the door are hidden secrets.
