“We actually spent $10-$30 per person but that was because everything was so good we had more! Our server, MASON, was amazing! We had never been here before and he answered our questions and had great suggestions. I had the Carmel Apple Cider, yum! The onion rings were amazing home made in their own batter and fried in one of their beers. The double smash burger and Lil beaver wrap (i made it a bowl and added extra lettuce and pico) were tasty. The onion rings so good, my better half ordered an order on its own. We were on a Sunday drive, looking for something different and local. We found it and now a destination for this direction. The atmosphere is totally cool inside or outside (love that option), family friendly, and the patio is pet friendly. Ps the bathroom was nice and clean BONUS. We will definitely be back

Service was outstanding and they let us know that each dish was made to order so requests to modity any dish for dietary or personal preference was an option. The baked brie with bacon jam was delicious. I am a chets worst nightmare because I like my steak well done. I don't know how they did it, but it was perfectly cooked and so tender and flavorful! We were too full for desert but will be back to try them out.”

“We love Bakery & Pickle! Our food is always outstanding, good service, and quality cocktails. We love their bartender Cullen. He makes the best drinks in town and will even create something unique based on our tastes. We had so much fun at the bar last night that we skipped our dinner reservations in the dining room and enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the bar. This place is always a good time with great staff, food, and atmosphere. Cullen keeps us coming back for his excellent cocktails!”

Our waitress was fantastic! She greeted us as we walked in and gave us great service! We are definitely going back and will have to try the pizza.”

The staff are amazing. By request, I returned the favor and fed them. Fried Cicadas. kitchen staff, wait staff and bartenders. all of them are skilled and have great personalities. I will go out of my way to return. Thank you on behalf of myself and the "Name That Bug!" community.”

I liked the indoor and outdoor seating areas including the small area on the 2nd floor. The selection of beers on tap was great. Only thing I didn't like was that KGBC was not doing flights that day. Overall, great brewery that I would definitely visit again if in the area.”

Breakfast was great as always. My friend had never been there before but her Mexican Omlette was beautiful and delicious! I had #6 eggs (over medium done perfectly) bacon (perfectly crisp but not burnt) and 2 big fluffy pancakes. Really hit the spot.

Our Server Terri(sp?) was great, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and quick with the coffee refills!

Owner Matthew stopped by to check on us and advised the improvements yet to come. Very nice!

As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!”

“After years we finally tried Annie’s and we were not disappointed. I had their smoked burger and fries they recommended the mustard sauce with it. Excellent addition and suggestion. The other food we had was the brisket plate with a corn muffin, cole slaw and potato salad. The brisket on its own was delicious so tender. The various sauces just added to the flavors of the brisket. The amount of food you get for what you pay is such a good price, definitely wont go hungry. We will definitely be back.”

“Awesome find on my trip to Bloomington IL. Pizza os just a CODE WORD. Comfort food was the secret agent. My entire family was able to dine on fresh, hot and delicious buffet salads, mains and desserts. And of course pizza. All for a price that won't make you sell the ranch

“My gf and I went on. A Sunday afternoon. I had the BP burger (and fries) and an illini IPA and the gf had a brisket sandwich and I cannot remember what she got to drink. I had three bites of the burger (med) and it was juicy and flavorful.. I look over and she is shredding the brisket sandwich to death (she doesn't like fat...) so I ask her if she wants to trade. (I was covered, I wanted either one and told her before ordering) After re-layering the sandwich, it was amazing! Good wood flavor. Juicy. I thought there wasn't enough sauce for the sandwich.. but it was good enough. For both we left a little less than $50 lighter. On a Sunday the crowd was a little older and the TV's had all the games on (one had law and order SVU. 👍🏾 Overall, well worth the wait. And worth the money if you're looking for a sit-down with some decent smokes meats.

Parking: On a Sunday it got a bit tricky as it's on a one way.. if you miss a spot you have to drive around two blocks and start over.”

The place has a very strange odor like a combination of possibly Mexican and Indian spices. My friend and I made the mistake of ordering the disgusting fried chicken wrap We did not eat it Not use to wraps being served with hot greasy strange bread wrap. After we ask for the check it took her another 20 minutes to bring it Not to mention our drinks were never refilled Horrible food poor service.”
