Love this place best Italian food in town
Unfortunately a victim of a post COVID environment and difficulty in hiring enough people.
Food is what it has always been with higher prices over last 6 years.

Were there for a meal after a funeral. Food was set up buffet style. 2 kinds of salad, Avantis bread, gondola, and 2 kinds of spaghetti, red sauce with meat and Alfredo sauce and drinks. The service was terrific.

Avanti's Italian Restaurant offers a delicious meatball sandwich, including a grander version with mushrooms and fried onions. The Italian bread for the sub is exceptional. The restaurant also serves gluten-free pizza, salads, and even cookies for dessert, which customers find to be incredible and perfectly cooked. While the food is very good, the counter service and self-serve drink station may feel out of place, giving the atmosphere a more fast-food vibe than a traditional restaurant. Guests order at the counter and get their own drinks, which has changed the dining experience since Covid, and some feel that quality and customer service have declined. The dining room opens at 11:30, so planning ahead is recommended. Fans of their Gondolas are willing to drive long distances for their tasty food. Parking is usually not a problem at this restaurant.
