“I've eaten here many times. It's the best of the Southeast Asian restaurants in town. Where too many restaurants in town use the same spices for most everything, such as the all-too-pervasive "brown sauce", the cuisine at this restaurant is pleasantly varied and not just the standard fare pleasing to the average American. The food is well prepared, so I'd encourage diners to take a chance and try something different such as eggplant or duck. I agree that it is often hard to contact them by phone during peak hours as they are chronically short staffed, not to mention popular. However, the staff are friendly, courteous and eager to please which is not easy when you're overwhelmed.“
“I've driven past the Tasty Crab lots of times and never felt much of a reason to indulge my curiosity, and what a shame I hadn't done so sooner! A couple of Yelp reviews mentioned it used to be an Asian restaurant, and I had my doubts as to its quality; suffice to say, very pleased. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and the restaurant layout was a lively and welcoming space. Expect a pricey check at the end of it, but that's to be expected with a seafood joint that's worth its salt. Above all, don't be shy about getting your fingers dirty! That's the nature of their seafood boils, and the restaurant is not for those that prefer a tidy dining experience.“

“Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. MaryLou was a very attentive and knowledgeable server. She checked in with us several times, without interruption and got anything additional that we wanted. The quartet was very enjoyable and friendly. I had the Halibut and my guy had the Prime Rib (of course) and both were delicious. Highly recommend the Bread Pudding for dessert. Excellent.“
“We had not been to Baxters for a while and decided to give it a try, and we left feeling very good about the choice. Emma was our server and she did a great job of making sure that we did not want for anything. The food was served promptly and was very good. I had a steak and the wife had the Halibut and both were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Overall a good experience.“
“I thought this place was amazing!!! Food was incredible and so was the steak especially. I feel he could’ve a bit more personable and taken away the empty plates. But at the end of the day it was 100% worth it. YOU have to try the DESSERTS if you come here. Best of my life.“
