“COULD NOT OF BEEN HAPPIER. 1-28-24 First time at Jack's. sorry was in the road with my husband saying we are going to Jack's for dinner. long story short!! was no disappointment when we went or left. The olace wA nicely set up with cloth napkins with that table dressed for invited guessed. place was clean and sparkling. I didn't have no idea what kind of place we was at. looking at the menu so many things I wanted. had a taste for a Greek salad but decide to go for the pita. Not sure of side dish the very nice waiters recommended the vegetables. Tired of fries and wanting so.ething different and her saving they have good vegetables I ordered. My husband ordered the Sheppard pie after back and for with the cheese steak. He got some vegetables also. my husband asked for a beer but found out it was BYOB. but quickly changed his mind when he asked about the lemonade. The sweet girl serving us (sorry forgot her name but only ine serving in Sunday 1-28-24.) I got the normal unsweetened tea. our food only taking a short time the food came out. The food was displayed on our plate as if they were eating- very nice. I must say my Gryos was best I ever tasted. I believe or taste like the pita was tasteful like a Flatbread and very fresh. The sandwich was very large making it easier to eat some on the meT and fiings with a fork. The sauce was very good knowing it was homemade and fresh not like you get in most places with a pita. There. was plenty of fresh vegetables cooked just so perfect. My husband's Pilly cheese steak was very delicious that the prime Rib used was tender and tasteful. Again the sauce was homemade with you can tell for the sandwich as it had a bit of hoursy sauce to it. Before I needed my waiters was there checking to make sure everything wS ok, if we needed anything. we let her know it was perfect she offered a refill on my tea when she noticed it was low. we was very happy with our meal and the price was very normal of everywhere around even though it was a upscale little nicer place than your ever run around the corner place.”
“great brunch, perfect fresh fruit and fresh orange juice. good coffee. service was great, all the staff were very nice. seated in the patio/sun room directly in the sun but were totally cool when I asked for a different table right next to us out of the sun. patio chairs are NOT big/fat butt friendly, my butt was squeezed the whole time. again, good food, good service, slightly inaccessible seating on the patio. it was very pretty though. will come again.”
“DESTIHL's Restaurant is a fairly upscale brewpub featuring a full menu with their beer, made at their local brewery, and a full bar. Service is very friendly and food has been very good the couple times I have eaten. The beers rotate regularly, but for my last stop their taps were: a light, cream ale, cream wheat, a Hefe, blonde, Irish dry stout, black IPA, 2 NEIPAs, IPA, imperial IPA, Belgian Quad, barrel aged pickle sour, cherry sour, blueberry sour, Goose, dragonfruit mango sour, , a sour reserve, and a seltzer. They also put a new dark ale on while I was there that was tasty. Bottled they had a barrel aged barley wine and a barrel aged imperial stout. That is a lot of sours but who am I to judge? I liked there dark and other non sours.DESTIHL is definitely worth a stop be it at the restaurant or the brewery.”
“The bartender makes you feel like you're coming home and the drinks help the feeling along! Excellent selection of beer too! Definitely worth the trip. We each had a flight of beer and traded tastes to try as many beers as possible”
“Lillian Grace our friend is the best server in North America. Great surprise excellent food. Beer looked great I was driving so none for me. My Business partner and friend Waz came in from Chicago and he was blown away with the food the tree and the updated uptown. One last compliment to the preachers daughter from Springfield, IL. Thanks for all the tea and water. One Love BC”
“My husband and I had dinner at the brewery for the first time today ( I've never been to the restaurant)I had the salsa verde pork tacos, and those tortillas reminded me of hometown in Sonora, Mexico! Congratulations on making this Mexican customer a happy one at heart. The tacos were absolutely delicious, not spicy but full of delicious flavors, I don't know what in the world was in the lime, but my mouth was on fire!! For the price, an extra taco would have been perfection, but I don't complain because it was 100% worth it.My husband loved his burger. We will definitely go back, and probably I'll just have more tacos.”
“Not bad at all this steakhouseThe meat is top notch and the salad buffet included is very good (fortunately it offsets the slightly high price of the rest)I think it would be safer to book on Saturday evening because it was practically full”
“Amazing service, owner is so very nice, and the food is divine. I go very often and always recommend it. This place's milk tea boba made me like tapioca pearls”
“The sausage stuffed crust from here is amazing? Always put together with care that's why I drive past 2 other locations to come here. Thank you for keeping up the quality and putting care in what you do!! ?”
“Great lunch experience! Chef was very knowledgable. Jenny, the owner and sushi chef came out to chat with us and gave us recommendations. Almond, the server, was sweet and treat us with respect. Place was clean and comfortable. Will come back and you too should.”
“Used to be a frequent at the old firehouse. My wife and I used to have once a week date nights there. Since going vegan they finally have a vegan cheese option and it’s very good. The XL New York vegan cheese is our go to! The old location and the ambiance was better overall and customer service here is really lacking but you do what you gotta do! Will be ordering again.Parking: Parking is always a gamble because uptown normal is always busy unless the students are gone. Easy to access if you’re walking around but parking isn’t great to pickup or dine in.”
“This is my favorite store for a couple reasons I got my first FNAF book there ( would recommend) The pretzels at the food area taste like they're from heaven as well as the pizza. Just a good store in general”
“My family had recently taken a brief hiatus from Logan's Roadhouse, but after being away for some time, we opted to return and order the same meals that we used to enjoy so much. From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and were instantly greeted by one of the best servers we have ever had. That talented server, Payton was professional, attentive, and fully dedicated to making our dining experience unforgettable, and he succeeded in every way. Shortly thereafter, Chris, a member of the management team, came out to greet our family, and assured us that we would enjoy a wonderful dining experience, touting the many positive changes that have been brought to this Bloomington-Normal staple . He was absolutely correct. The food was prepared impeccably, timed perfectly, and enjoyed by every member of our family. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality of the service and food, and we were already making plans for a return trip before we finished our meals. To finish this fantastic night, Trent, the General Manager, visited our table and thanked us for coming in. That was the perfect ending to an amazing evening. Every member of this restaurant team went over and above to make our night the very best, and we have already booked a large party as our means to say "thank you". I strongly recommend a return or first visit to this fantastic restaurant. We are truly happy that we came back, and we cannot thank the Logan's staff enough.”
“Protip: If you get the brussels sprouts appetizer to go and happen to sneak a few bites on your way home, your car WILL smell like farts, BUT it will be 100% worth it because they are DELICIOUS!”
