“These guys here really care how the perfect the Chinese fast food at its finest cooking perfection, I really missed them. I been traveling everywhere in West Coast where lot of population of Asian food but can't find a decent healthy Chinese food at it fine dining too. I missed Henry & his wife..very caring in their cooking recipes. My favorites from them is Singapore noodle, egg foo young, beef & broccoli, lo mein noodle OMG perfection! Too many to list as I'm sitting in my sunny California home to list. I miss them so much. Bloomington/Normal is blessed to have China Star restaurants. Not much choice but only the best choice restaurant in the area. Now that I have moved & travels everywhere there's no place like Bloomington/Normal..for healthy eating out. I missed Illinois but not the cold snow...“
“I had an interesting situation at the Bloomington normal location. I had just traveled from IA and arrived to my hotel around 7-8 pm went through the Panera drive thru service and food were great as usual. The next day I was heading back to IA around 4pm and I realized I had used my Company Credit card and did not receive a receipt with my drive thru purchase.I entered the store during was seemed like a very busy lunch/dinner rush and the manager working at the time seemed to be covering multiple positions while staff could go on break. Only one register seemed to be working and I had such a bizarre request with needing a receipt from the night before. Though the manager obviously had many things on his plate he was polite and professional to me and my situation and gave me his time to understand the request and was upfront that it may be a bit while he finishes up his current tasks. After about 10 - 15 mins I saw him move from the back to the front stopping in between to resure he had not forgot about me eventually he returned with a print out of the exact transaction.Absolutely excellent customer service while under pressure“
“We had a fantastic server here and I would love for him to be our server every time if it were possible! Very friendly, fast, and good food!Kid-friendliness: The kids meal options were large portions and they gave us a cup with a lid for my kiddo. The staff talked to my kid too not just to me. She got a menu with crayons.“
“Great Vegetarian/vegan eats looking for that after gym, school or raw snack this place is it. Unique salads with many toppings and the staff are very helpful I got a tofu Ginger beet salad with Carrot Vinaigrette so tasty! I enjoyed the cranberry cayenne lemonade I'm a spicy girl but this just had a kick to it nothing to extreme. Best salad spot!“
