“The fried chicken is some of the best in town. As were was the fried ocra and hush puppies. Make sure to have lemon pepper seasoned!!Looking forward to trying the walleye and shrimp soon.Laid back atmosphere. No fancy china or silverware. That didn't matter to us at all. You order and pickup at the counter. No problemo. Friendly owner and cook this evening with our first visit. All our food was piping HOT (temp)!!!!They use DoorDash for deliveries.Great food can't wait to try more of their fare!!“
“We got delivery while in the area, and the food was quite good and arrived quickly. Gyro was definitely up to expectations and my wife liked the falafel sandwich which was huge - she wished she had actually saved half for later. Babaganoush was not the best I've ever had but still pretty good and served with plenty of warm and tasty pita slices. I'd definitely visit or order from here again, it's a nice option if you're in Normal.“

“Great Vegetarian/vegan eats looking for that after gym, school or raw snack this place is it. Unique salads with many toppings and the staff are very helpful I got a tofu Ginger beet salad with Carrot Vinaigrette so tasty! I enjoyed the cranberry cayenne lemonade I'm a spicy girl but this just had a kick to it nothing to extreme. Best salad spot!“
“Small high windows, make daylight a jewel in this classic roadside bar. Tall diner stools and sturdy tables will not easily be knocked over. The friendly bar staff keeps the food and drink coming to to the guests. My beef sandwich and large mug of coffee were very tasty and just what I needed before getting back on the road.“
“So, the oysters and the mussels were very good. I’m pretty sure the sourcing of all ingredients is very thoughtful. Even the potatoes were exceptional. We like the use of what turned out to be turnips. Everything was cooked well. I like that they are inspired by April Bloomfield, one of my favourite chefs. However, the entrees weren’t anything special. I guess it was more comfort food, and disappointing after the awesome starters. They were accommodating and made a kind of gravy. I did like the lightly fried potato slabs. The non alcoholic drinks weren’t great. And the dessert, while clearly made with good ingredients, was not as intriguing as the description. Not sure where the peach jam was in it all. The atmosphere is fine. A little darker than I’d like, a lamp on the table or small one above our heads would have been useful. The music doesn’t go with the atmosphere. I think it’s a new restaurant, and they might also be timid due to their location, but I feel they should do more with what they have.“
“Just had the best chicken gizzards of my life today at Keller’s. Not only are gizzards usually hard to come by, but often they are chewy and dried out. These were so, so tender and the spice - incredible. Such a great lunch special, too. If you love gizzards, here you go!!“

Great entertainment, including live music, karaoke, and the occasional movie. They've almost always got something entertaining on the TVs, and the staff are usually pretty quick to come take your order when you're ready.“
“COULD NOT OF BEEN HAPPIER. 1-28-24 First time at Jack's. sorry was in the road with my husband saying we are going to Jack's for dinner. long story short!! was no disappointment when we went or left. The olace wA nicely set up with cloth napkins with that table dressed for invited guessed. place was clean and sparkling. I didn't have no idea what kind of place we was at. looking at the menu so many things I wanted. had a taste for a Greek salad but decide to go for the pita. Not sure of side dish the very nice waiters recommended the vegetables. Tired of fries and wanting so.ething different and her saving they have good vegetables I ordered. My husband ordered the Sheppard pie after back and for with the cheese steak. He got some vegetables also. my husband asked for a beer but found out it was BYOB. but quickly changed his mind when he asked about the lemonade. The sweet girl serving us (sorry forgot her name but only ine serving in Sunday 1-28-24.) I got the normal unsweetened tea. our food only taking a short time the food came out. The food was displayed on our plate as if they were eating- very nice. I must say my Gryos was best I ever tasted. I believe or taste like the pita was tasteful like a Flatbread and very fresh. The sandwich was very large making it easier to eat some on the meT and fiings with a fork. The sauce was very good knowing it was homemade and fresh not like you get in most places with a pita. There. was plenty of fresh vegetables cooked just so perfect. My husband's Pilly cheese steak was very delicious that the prime Rib used was tender and tasteful. Again the sauce was homemade with you can tell for the sandwich as it had a bit of hoursy sauce to it. Before I needed my waiters was there checking to make sure everything wS ok, if we needed anything. we let her know it was perfect she offered a refill on my tea when she noticed it was low. we was very happy with our meal and the price was very normal of everywhere around even though it was a upscale little nicer place than your ever run around the corner place.“
