“All around great family experience. We stopped by for the live music and a bite to eat. The Sweet Nothings band was exceptional, brought the talent and energy. Distihl brought the cold drinks, flavorful food and prompt service even with a massive crowd. We met great people(and their dogs), from the area and some visiting from Peoria. Destihl adds a lot to our town and is reason to make a trip to Bloomington/ Normal!“

“We enjoy Papa Murphy's Take - and - Bake Pizza every time we visit our daughter's family in Sandy Utah. The 10.99 Large 2 topping on TUESDAYS is a big hit with my 2 grandsons. Their ALL Veg is Wonderful, you just need to cook about 3 minutes extra to crisp the crust. I wish the Joliet IL area had many stores. My favorite Pizza is Aurelio's in Joliet on West Jefferson St.“

“Firehouse is one of my favorite bars /restaurants ever and one of my favorite workers there is Eden, an amazing bartender her drinks are always on point and she always picks out the best music to jam too and yeah, the place is a 10 out of 10. It’s a cute local bar.“

“I went to ISU in the 1970's, and Avanti's was always a favorite part of our years on campus. Fifty+ years later, it's always a treat to visit this restaurant and consume their delicious food. Walking into Avanti's is like going back in time to my college days with my friends! Love this place!“

“This location is amazing. It’s recently remodelled and very neat and tidy, the food is great and the service is exceptional. Keep in mind, the quantity of food, especially the bowls, is much more than you would expect. They also have a very wide selection os salsas and dips.“

“4/5 -- Great service. Food was high quality despite my med-rare steak being delivered well done. The manager took care of it promptly and with no bother at all. Seasonal menu features were well-executed. Better than average for a hotel restaurant, especially on campus.“

“Came over here from the east coast and stumbled upon this place not expecting much. BOY WAS I SURPRISED!! The food is amazing. Took me down memory lane and back to the streets of Philly Delaware and NY. This is a hidden gem. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli combination plate. This is definitely top tier Chinese food.“

“Destihl makes some of my favorite food in Bloomington-Normal. Both locations are great food and great atmosphere. The Beer Hall & Barrel Room is amazing for a more casual experience, especially when the weather is nice and there is live music. It's definitely different from the main restaurant--I've noticed from some reviews that some people don't know there are 2 different locations with different experiences. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot up to the beer hall but very worth it. Both have vegetarian/vegan options. I love the banana curry at the main restaurant and the fact that you can add your choice of protein (including tofu!) to your meals. I always check their features to see if there's something new and exciting to try. Can't recommend Destihl enough!“
