Fat Jacks Bar Bar • $

“Stopped in on a Monday night while visiting the area. It wasn't very crowded and had an absolutely amazing bourbon list! I'm from Kentucky and so surprised they offered all the nice bourbon! It may be a college bar on the weekends but don't discount it on the week nights. Plenty of older people there.“

“Please help this place out. We went on a Sunday night, they were dead. Service was excellent, prices were so good, food was great! They have breakfast all day and kids eat free off of it. The kids meal was large. They offer $10 meals that are big.We need to keep this place open and support them. We will be going back soon!Kid-friendliness: Free kids breakfast meals offered all day“

Stave Wine Bar And Market Bar • $$

“I loved this place. The outdoor seating was so quaint, it was like being at a little bistro in Europe. The server was attentive and gave good recommendations. I was traveling with a grown man that has the palette of a toddler. If it is not a burger and Miller Lite he is not interested. So this place was a stretch. Exotic cheese and micro brews. She gave us the micro brew closest to a Miller Lite for him, and I went with a smoked Gouda with crackers. I tried one of the bitters, it was awesome. A random side note: people that have a cult following to any beer- it can be bitter or taste like armpit but they like their canned beer because it is consistently bitter and armpit flavored. They don't like change, so microbrews are scary. For me, this cafe was refreshing change. For my partner it was culture and strangeness being forced upon him. There is a sterile pub down the street....we visited there next and had a Miller Lite for compromise.“

“I do not recommend this restaurant. I went to Fiala Brothers last night at 8pm and ordered food using their Kiosk. I waited 45 minutes and didn't receive my food. After 45 minutes, I went up to the bartender and he told me that the kitchen closed at 7pm. He told me that they should put a sign out to explain that the kitchen is closed at 7pm, but there was no signage anywhere stating that the kitchen was closed. The signage stated that you could order using the kiosk many places in the restaurant. Luckily, the bartender refunded my money, but I was very displeased with the visit. Also, there were two bartenders working last night, but one of them was always standing in the background not interacting with guests. He was just wondering around the restaurant. I felt like he wasn't improving the service at all and instead was causing a negative outlook on the restaurant. I will not be returning to this restaurant.“
