Some family members met at Bob Evans for lunch. One of those long lost cousin things. We had three tables of family members there today 11/1. The young gentleman who served us dud a great job taking our orders and seeing to it everyone was served. Not only that but he was training a young lady during the entire time.

I hate to be the one to write bad reviews, I've enjoyed trying this restaurant's food in the grocery store but this experience was far from good. We decided to have it delivered, mistake number one as our Doordash driver never contacted us nor knocked on the door when leaving the order. Our food order was placed in the bag awkwardly so we had to play musical box to figure out the order, we got items we didn't order or requests that weren't handled, as well as some food being overcooked (the onion rings and onions on the chopped steak) or bland. Sadly because the wait from the restaurant and the delivery driver, our food was cold and the desert was melting. Sitting down in the restaurant I'm sure would have been a better choice, but I doubt I'll do that with the cost of the food and portions being underwhelming for our order.

We arrived this morning at 11am and everything started off great, we were seated quickly and our drink order was taken and returned.
Then we sat for 45 minutes before our waitress returned in tears to take our order. We never received drink refills for the whole visit but the food was fast and good once the order was taken. If the restaurant doesn’t have enough wait staff to cover a full house they should close sections and not leave people sitting for over an hour and proverbially beating on the staff. Let people know there is an extended wait at the beginning and let them decide if they want to wait or not.
It was 80 minutes in the store from start to finish which is unacceptable, couldn’t even throw %10 off on the check.

Came in the first time. There were only a couple of people seated. Waited to be seated for a long time. People behind the counter ignored us. They knew we were there. We left. Thought we would try them one more time several weeks later. Waited a little but understood that the gentleman had two people at the register waiting when we arrived. He was very cordial and seated us. We Waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. She waited on two other tables. She never said she would be right with us. She just ignored us. We left again.
Lala the waitress we had was AMAZING, I wish all waiting crews were like her, she went above and beyond for us and checked on us in a timely matter and brought us refills without us having to ask 🖤

Had 5 of us today for breakfast. First time for me in a Bob Evans in decades. Waitress was attentive and accommodating for our group. We had a variety of dishes from double meat, country fried steak, most of the guys enjoyed what the ordered. For me the scrambled eggs were very bland. Pancakes were good. As well as my sausage and hashbrown. One of my buddies felt his bacon could have been cooked longer. Our waitress kept drinks full. Cleared our table promptly as we finished. Only issue was our first bill came as one and had to get separate checks which was promptly rectified. The location was not busy and we had time and space to talk about what it is that we talk about without being rushed out. I will probably be more open to stopping at Bob Evans if my bride asks. Now if they could get someone to tighten the toilet seats. They should not flop around..
