Worst boba ive had in a while. Was significantly watery and not very flavorful. As well as messily put together, I’m sorry I hate writing negative reviews but I’m disappointed.

I quite liked the French kiss waffle, But the music is a bit annoying

I’m sad to leave 3 stars because it is my favorite boba place in town BUT if the man that owns it is not working then you are waiting A LONG time for your drink. Which makes me hardly want to come at all. Very long wait times. They could also use a good deep cleaning and someone to help them re-work the front area to be more modern and welcoming.

The boba is very basic, almost entirely just mix match syrups and smoothies. No specials or trendy toppings. On top of that, every time I come here, there’s only one poor person running the whole shop resulting in 15+ minute wait per other person.

Me and my kids couldn't even enjoy our drinks because the water made it taste so disgusting

Just pure sugar. Worst boba I had

My drink is so delicious! I usually get Taro milk tea from another local spot but I was craving it so badly and decided to come here! The young lady was so patience who serviced me and gave me a life changing bc recommendation to try lychee! My new favorite jelly ?!

I would love for a more inviting atmosphere to sit and read but other than that… what you pay for is truly delicious!

I am a boba fan for life.Emily and I booked a trip to Bloomington to try some breweries and she mentioned she never had Boba before so.... luckily there was a Boba place around where we were going. The outside of Boba for Life looks unassuming but once you step inside, you are treated to a visual smorgasbord of art on the wall, BOBA written in tile on the floor, random odds and ends for sale against the wall, and a friendly bobarista.Emily got a strawberry/mango tea and I got the dirty brown sugar boba. The lady was working alone so our drinks took a hot minute to make due to prior people waiting and a lady coming in to place an order. Emily and I browsed the eclectic interior while waiting.Along one wall was a lot of their options painted on the wall. Some of them looked interesting but one of my complaints is that I couldn't quite discern what each drink consisted of. The wall nor menu kind of hinted at what each one contained. There was a few things I wanted to order but just didn't know what they contained. So, I settled on the dirty brown sugar as it sounded like a safe option. We got our drinks and booked it to our next stop. We tried both each other's drinks and I dug the mix she came up with and she dug my brown sugar boba. She did point out that the entire bottom of my drink was brown sugar so I took that as a cue to mix it up a bit before continuing my drink.Aside from the interesting interior, I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try any of the other drinks now that I know what we are working with.Plus boba is fun. It's like a drink and a snack all at once.

Boba wasn’t good, was very hard. And drink mix tastes like strawberry Nesquik. Server was off-putting.

My daughter and I tried it out today. We loved it. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and answered all questions we had. We will definitely be back.

First time coming to this shop. I use to work at shop (chicago) making boba tea, smoothie, roll ice cream including making spring rolls, ramen ? and other etc. I order a taro snow and I thought it was the dark taro that I saw the menu picture. Overall it taste delicious, I would go again and get the bucket size.

I got two macarons and the Oreo one that I purchased literally had a piece of GLASS sticking out of it… macarons are expensive enough as it is and now I have to waste them so I don’t get another piece of glass in it!
