Shame on this hotel. Only 4 handicap spots near the main entrance and when I pointed out 2/4 cars using the handicap spots had tags displayed the front desk worker didn't care.

An honest review: Old and big hotel! We stayed for the night on our road trip. Its pretty cool but outdated. Except the bathroom seemed more new which was great. Beds are fine. We had to wait awhile at the front desk and service was eh. Great for the price though

Chateau Bloomington, where have you been our entire lives? How have we missed this gorgeous, historic, classically, romantic Castle hotel? We travel to Bloomington each February to meet up with our best friends and families. We have found our new getaway space in this beautiful, clean, accommodating gem of the Midwest. The rates, pool, hot tub, food and amenities are top notch but it is the kind, welcoming and responsive staff that make The Chateau 10 /10!. We love it here !
