Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I come here near daily during the week for my lunch. Staff is always friendly and seem to be having a good time of things. Think the worst I've ever waiting was like 5min. Today was great because I had a single Frozen Fry in my container. Not multiple, but just 1. I know this normally the part where customers gripe but i found it so out of nowhere that 1 single fry was frozen I couldn't help but laugh, made my day a little brighter. Pic attached of the uncooked fry next to a cooked one. Keep up the great work everyone, thanks for the giggles.

Worst of the 3 locations in Bloomington-Normal. This evening I ordered an oreo cheesecake blizzard and came home with a barely mixed up red velvet. Several times have I received a blizzard from this location that has been barely mixed up or it has been incorrect.

Make sure you call before you go because they closed the drive through very early and waited for 7 minutes at the drive through waiting to place my order. There were 3 other cars behind me waiting as well. I called the normal il location and was told “this franchise does not operate like they do and the S Main Street location does whatever the hell they want and due to their actions in result makes the Normal location look bad”!! The normal location employee also said the only time they close early is if the weather is bad with snow and ice but they would never close early just because it’s cold outside. As I was driving off I saw an employee driving a gold 2008-2011 Jeep Cherokee pulled out the parking lot who can attest to the line prior to closing due to having to pass the line of cars as they were making a right turn to pull out of the Dairy Queen heading in the direction away from Main Street traffic light. There was also a 2010-2014 black Toyota Tacoma parked out front of the Dairy Queen location as well. I attempted to call the s main location store twice with no pick up just constant ringing. I will make the 15 minute drive to the normal location next time instead since they respect their open and close times that’s listed on their website.

Had the rudest person wait on me. She took my order and I pulled around and she starts giving me attitude because I pulled up without telling what kind of drink I wanted. I just pulled up, yes I guess I forgot to tell you my drink, my bad. I didn’t do it on purpose so why be so hostile? It’s not like the drive thru is busy, I was the only one. Took my lunch order down the street to McDonald’s. I think I’ll steer clear of this place.

I’m not sure why they would put hot items in with frozen ones. Order a blizzard and fries and u guys seriously put the fries in the same bag. Seriously it’s not a hard job cold with cold hot with hot.

My experience at this location has been hit-and-miss, but today, my family had a great experience in large part to Antonio. He was constantly working to make sure things were running smoothly and to ensure customers, including us, received what their orders quickly. Move Antonio up to a leadership position at the earliest opportunity and this restaurant will flourish.

This Dairy Queen is usually always giving good service all around. My chicken tenders box today was amazing crispy fries crispy chicken perfect toast. Would highly recommend this place staff seems very friendly as well.
