Dop's Jerk House

Update: went & it’s nothing special. Got the salmon Alfredo. 2 small pieces of salmon. Alfredo itself, nothing special. Side of cabbage, bland. Had to add my own seasonings to get some type of flavor. Just over hyped in my opinion.

This was a doordash order. I understand prices has went up. To pay for a large oxtail and get 4 small piece which we know was cut in half. We value our money and food. What will make a restaurant to cut oxtails in half ?Ohh to save them money and cheat customer with food. I will not be going back. If oxtails are to expense then stop selling them. This way customers are not disappointed.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dops since it opened. Getting a weekend oxtail, plantains, Mac and cheese and a ginger beer is one of my favorites. Always friendly, always clean and fast service. The pineapple jerk chicken is great too.

I was in the mode for some jerk and this place popped up close to my house. Meeka was excellent with her customer service. She give me free simples because I didn’t know what I wanted. So I finally decided to get the jerk salmon Alfredo and it was delicious. Now you will have a wait time because the chef made the food cook to order. To me it was worth the wait. I love when food is fresh and cooked to order. Now presentation wise, it looks like a mess of things put together lol but once you eat it you taste all the flavor. Fish and chicken cooked to perfection. I’ll eat here again because they have so much to offer and something different.

Meeka was a delight as the front line hostess. Her disposition was so pleasant. 👍🏾 the customer service was excellent. The chief did an excellent job with the jerk chicken, cabbage, and mac and cheese. I will be returning to try other dishes. Come get your eat on. 🙌🏾

Last Sunday I was very impressed with their understanding as well as the service. The food was so good they couldn’t keep up with the demand!! But they were very professional and accommodating, and did their best to serve us. The Jerk-Salamon Alfredo was amazing, the customer service was even better. I WILL BE COMING BACK‼️

Can to the restaurant 40 minutes before they closed and they refused to take anymore orders. This is ridiculous, why out that you're open till 7 if you're going to stop taking an hour before

Mrs ordered curry goat stew over red beans and rice outstanding!
Mr ordered jerk chicken tacos (3ct) filling and very flavorful topped off with their mild jerk sauce (perfect)!
Everything was quality!
Hope to try their oxtails next time out here!

My husband and I stopped here to try jerk chicken and it was delicious! Even more delicious was the jerk oxtail which came with green beans cooked with turkey meat and fried plantain. Meeka was our hostess and she had us try a lot of the items they make. Their curry chicken was delicious too ! Hope to try that next time. The spice level is just perfect. The best thing about all the items was that they all had unique flavors!
