traveled 3 hours to taste what I could only describe as excellent Turkish food!To begin I was greeted by a sweet and lovely Turkish woman who treats the customer as if they are family! Super friendly and pleasant environment to be in!The drink I got was Turkish coffee and it tasted so great! So authentic, I felt elated that I wanted more! I then sought out an appetizer and got the hummus because I grew up on hummus and I love me some hummus! It was amazing and homemade! I saw some chickpeas in it which really defines how homemade it actually is. For me the hummus was perfect! Especially with their tasty pita breadFollowing tradition I decided to get their kebabs! Which are to die far! I got a mixed grill which was chicken lamb beef and more! The rice pilaf a buttery goodness that compliments the meat perfectly! With a side salad that has a house made dressing. Elegant and light but very tasty!I write this review as I eagerly wait for my dessert the Kanafeh! In which I have 0 doubt in my mind that it will be as lovely as everything else I have had so far!My conclusion is I would travel another 3 hours from Indianapolis to eat at this lovely authentic Turkish restaurant!5/5 stars! I like the family vibe and the cold appetizer (Dolmeh) was good, but I had gone in there for the Kebobs! Instead I got a pan fried stale tasting patty! When I asked why it’s fried and not grilled as a kebab should be was told the grill is down and not working!! How about telling your customer that instead of frying the meat! Taste was bad and I thought for the location and interior it was overpriced.

Do not let the exterior or decor fool you.This is really good food and worth the price!The turkish tea and lentil soup are excellent.Run by a family who came here in 2007. They are very friendly.

SO delicious! We eat a lot of Mediterranean food and the flavors here are above and beyond. The staff was VERY nice as well. Wish we weren't just passing thorough, we would definitely go here regularly!

My favorite restaurant in Bloomington! I’ve been coming here for nearly a year and ever since the first visit the owner has made me feel so welcome, like I’m visiting the Turkish mother I never knew I had. And she remembers all of her customers! The food is delicious. I love the Turkish tea and the red lentil soup is the best comfort food. Their donar kebab melts in your mouth. And the rice pudding that comes with the lunch special is perfect. Plus I really enjoy the ambiance and decor. Gulay and her family are very proud of Turkey and the beautiful pictures on the wall make me want to travel there. The restaurant is a hidden gem that more people need to discover!

This is a great place. A true mom and pop place just from Turkey. My family has been eating here for 5-6 years now and my girls have come pretty close to trying the entire menu. Never had a bad meal. Service is excellent, very warm and welcoming. This is the real deal Mediterranean food right here in our little fast food, chain loving town.
