I was looking forward to going to Anju Above as I had never been. We were a party of 7 and instead of the food coming to the table all at once it came out 1 at a time. Each meal came what seemed to be 5 minute intervals. I ordered one of the rustic pizzas which would have never come to the table, if I didn't ask the waiter where my pizza was. It appears my order was forgotten about. while I was waiting for my pizza the manager asked how the food was. I said I don't know cas I never got it. When my pizza finally arrived at my table it was horrible. It was rushed out as the dough wasn't cooked through. No apologies nothing. Poor service and food was forgettable. I'll never go back.

Tonight I complained about food in a restaurant... for the first time in my life. The food was not edible and most importantly, nobody cared when I complained. No server or manager cared enough to listen to my comments on the absolute worst food that I have ever had in ANY restaurant, in any town, any state or country....The soup was too salty for anyone to consume and the appetizer bread was so stale that it was hard as a rock.... even trying to soak in the watered down salt, called consomme', didn't help... Spend your money someplace else... Maybe someplace where the staff cares, just a little bit.

Trying to be too hip with complex and over priced menu, farm to table premium I get it, flavor and satisfaction just not there. Unfortunately, the service was lacking(not busy at all) as well.

Management says: you WILL eat and pay for gross thing. No food taken off bill. Ordered the dumplings: veggie and pork. They took a while and when they came out the pork were good but the veggie were so waterlogged the fork wouldn't even catch hold. We told the waiter and said no need to make another order, just take off the bill. Waiter (very nice young man) informs us the manager would not allow that, but we could get another order. Fine. This is stupid but ok. Our entree pizza arrives. After we have eaten the entree, the pork dumplings come. Like 40 minutes after the initial dumplings. Then the dessert like after the check. Why the forced dumplings? The bill was $94, it's not like we didn't get other stuff. Where is this mythical manager? I didn't want make a big thing bc it was my friends bday but I wish I had.

I had the wings with sauce on the side. Crispy and flavorful! Also had the pretzel roll, and it was fabulous!

This place is amazing! The egg appetizer was out of this world. Everything on the menu has been delicious!

Incredible. We were delighted with the food. The scallop potatoes looked like a tuna steak. Everything was delicious. A great place for a special evening out.

I'm my opinion it's the best place to get great food and cocktails in town. It's on the more pricey side, but worth it if celebrating or treating yourself to a delicious meal. The service is usual really good and the dining room is cozy. My husband always gets the pork feature, no matter what it is, and it always impresses. Don't skip dessert!

Service is amazing, our Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was good, but should be amazing compared to price. I do like that you can order from any of their restaurants (Anju Above & Harmony), but all of it was just okay. Atmosphere is nice, very clean.

This place never ceases to amazing me! The food is absolutely excellent and the staff are as warm and pleasant as can be. I have never tasted anything served here that wasn't the best! This restaurant opens your horizons of how food should taste. The chefs tasting menu is a must have for an array of flavors and experience. Best restaurant in Bloomington for sure!

Ate dinner there 1/31/24, previously ate there in 2019. The quality has significantly declined- I can easily say this was the worst meal of my life. The nigiri was old fish, I couldn't eat more than one bite. The mussels were very poor quality, small and shriveled rather than plump- possibly overcooked, but may also be just poor quality. I was upset to learn that the memories of a great meal from years ago were nowhere to be found.

Love the food and the farm to table philosophy they have. Nice quiet atmosphere with great appetizers and entrees. Staff was very nice and the evening was very comfortable.
