I was recommended First Wok by a co-worker and though the wait time to get the food took a lil bit, the food did not disappoint me! It was great! Prob the best quick in and out Chinese I've had in the area!
We ordered the chicken broccoli and lo mein and it was delicious!
In southern IL we have tons of Asian food to compete, but up here I haven't found many places. But this just became my new place to order out from. Seating is a small area but I'd prob just grab on my way home.
Definitely check this place out if you want some really good Chinese in the area!

This place has awesome food but the prices have jumped quite a bit over the years. Used to get a small pork fried rice for 5-6 dollars and now it's almost 10 for the same thing. Again, very good food just not as economical to eat there as it used to be.

I order from here all the times, food is always good, except today ( Sunday 7/27/25. I ordered black pepper chicken, and the chicken was going bad, had a spoiled taste, I had to toss the dish. As I said usually the food is good.

The best Chinese food in Bloomington/Normal by far!! Hot n sour soup is amazing! Sweet n sour chicken, best in town, don't get me started on the fried rice, general tso, Love this place! Keep it up guys!!

We order from here a couple times a year. Past two times food is forgotten for our carry out order. Which really sucks since we live 45 minutes away. Foods decent but when you order as much as we do it would be nice if you got all your food.
I’m updating this review, they called me and offered a credit for the next time we order. What else can we really ask for, living further away it isn’t worth the drive - but it shows what kind of business they are. I appreciate it.

I order from First Wok approximately once a month. I get four meals out of the two Luncheon Specials I always order. The good-sized meals are always hot and delicious and are delivered in a timely manner. All employees and delivery drivers I have dealt with are very courteous. And I love their almond cookies for my mid-afternoon snack with a cup of hot tea.
