If I could give zero stars I would. I have always loved the selection at HyVee and have been a frequent shopper for years both personally and professionally using HyVee for my job.
However, HyVee Catering should not even be able to call themselves a catering business. HyVee Catered my wedding rehearsal dinner with a taco bar and did not bring the shells or chips, leaving us to scramble and buy random bags of chips at a gas station. They also were supposed to make an orange and blue cookie cake but instead changed the colors to blue and yellow without approval.
Then fast forward to our wedding day, HyVee Catering did our wedding cake. We ordered a small 2 tier RED VELVET cake. To our surprise when we cut into it was vanilla with raspberry filling - my fiancé hates raspberries.
So thank you HyVee for completely failing - you have lost a biweekly customer for life and will I will not be shopping at your store for life as well as you lost respect from our guests.

This store displaced our nice specialty grocery stores when it came to town ,when it opened it had great selection and service. since it opened a couple years ago it has gone down hill incredibly. now it is just like any other grocery store and our town is worse off because of it. a huge shame

I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!

We love the chinese food, but the vegetables are always raw. The rice noodles aren't done either. It's like chewing a rubber covered wire. For the price we pay it should be completely cooked. We shouldn't have to finish cooking it at home before eating it.

What I love most about Hy-Vee is that I can go and get pre-seasoned meat, seafood and sides making it super easy as a stay at home mom to make a meal for a family of 5 in under 30 mins all using my air fryer. Add in their fresh baked goods and you have the whole shabang. Their Market Street Grille is also worth checking out as well great food and excellent service at a pretty decent price and the portions are def worth it.

It is an amazing thing to talk to a real person! I called 8 places to try to fill a prescription, Hyvee was the only one where I talked to genuinely nice people, instead of a automated system.. on and off the phone in under 2 minutes, and the people I talked to were extremely pleasant. I truly appreciate your approach to customer service.

We ordered at Wahlburgers, waited 10 minutes for our takeout order to be taken, waited 45 minutes for our order of 1 burger, 1 Caesar salad, 1 tater tots to arrive. Had to ask the staff to find our order. Salad container half full. Burger slopped into the container. Staff offered 2 fountain drinks as consolation??? Seriously??? Waste of time, waste of money.
