Hy-Vee Market Grille

If I could give zero stars I would. I have always loved the selection at HyVee and have been a frequent shopper for years both personally and professionally using HyVee for my job. However, HyVee Catering should not even be able to call themselves a catering business. HyVee Catered my wedding rehearsal dinner with a taco bar and did not bring the shells or chips, leaving us to scramble and buy random bags of chips at a gas station. They also were supposed to make an orange and blue cookie cake but instead changed the colors to blue and yellow without approval. Then fast forward to our wedding day, HyVee Catering did our wedding cake. We ordered a small 2 tier RED VELVET cake. To our surprise when we cut into it was vanilla with raspberry filling - my fiancé hates raspberries. So thank you HyVee for completely failing - you have lost a biweekly customer for life and will I will not be shopping at your store for life as well as you lost respect from our guests.

This store displaced our nice specialty grocery stores when it came to town ,when it opened it had great selection and service. since it opened a couple years ago it has gone down hill incredibly. now it is just like any other grocery store and our town is worse off because of it. a huge shame

I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!

Their Chinese food is pretty good. The service is average, as is the atmosphere.

I have been ordering decorator cake from Hy-Vee for several years. Monika designs the best cakes and they always turn out as expected. Cakes are one of the delicious I ever had and they keep a consistent flavor.

I had purchased a dinosaur cake for my daughter's birthday and it turned out great!! Thank you Monika for your hard work and all the great detail in the cake and cupcakes. We all enjoyed.

I am ALLERGIC to wasabi and in my doordash order, I SPECIFICALLY asked for no wasabi and also got no eating utensils and or napkins, soy sauce either.

Huge shout out to Justin in the Deli department! I was looking for a take and bake pizza, and there were none left in variety I wanted. Not only did Justin search through the back area to find the one I was looking for, he searched me out in the store to bring it to me! Thank you Justin for your awesome customer service! ?

Anastasia is a fantastic waitress! I found myself having breakfast here 3 days in a row and the breakfast was really good and the service was great! Anastasia works Friday - Monday! Stop in, say hi, and experience the wonderful service!

It is an amazing thing to talk to a real person! I called 8 places to try to fill a prescription, Hyvee was the only one where I talked to genuinely nice people, instead of a automated system.. on and off the phone in under 2 minutes, and the people I talked to were extremely pleasant. I truly appreciate your approach to customer service.

Cupcakes are spectacular! We had an assortment of Vanilla, Chocolate and Red Velvet. Each one melted in my mouth! And they were gorgeous too!
