My birthday cakes growing up were always from Janet’s and were always something I looked forward to. When I was planning my wedding I knew I wanted Janet’s for my cake and cupcakes! They did an AMAZING job with desserts for my wedding. Everything was fresh and delicious. They were great with communication and accommodating to my requests. I will continue to be a repeat customer!

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s baby shower and it exceeded our expectations! I showed them a few inspiration pictures and they were able to incorporate the baby shower theme. It was beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend!!

I'm the last month I have made 2 orders at Janet's for special occasions. In that time frame I spent well over $100 in the store. The first time I went in, they complained that I wanted a simple decoration, telling me that they aren't doing decorations any longer. For the price I paid (over $80 for a small sheet cake and 6 cupcakes), I should be able to ask for simple decoration. The only thing they would do was write a simple message. I figured maybe they lost a decorator because they had a "hiring" sign near the front door. When I went to pick up the order a week later, they were decorating cakes and the hiring sign was still up. They had at least 4 workers in the store so it did not seem to be a staffing issue. There was no explanation as to why they couldn't do a simple decoration on my cake. I even came in with a picture that they had designed for the same event last year.Then last week I came in to order cupcakes for a family party. I paid almost $50 for 14 cupcakes. This time I wanted to keep things simple. After I paid, I realized I had forgotten to ask for sprinkles on the birthday boy's cupcake (just the *1*. cupcake). So I asked if she could add it to the order sheet and was told it would be an extra $0.25. I hunted around in my purse and couldn't find a quarter. They acted like I was wasting their time. Seriously, after I have spent $140 in your store in the last 3 weeks, you can't put 10 little sprinkles on a cupcake for an 8 year old? This is disappointing because the taste is excellent and everyone loves the cake and frosting, but the customer service was awful. I was treated like I was asking for a large discount. I would have even brought in the quarter when I picked up the order if it weren't for their rude attitude. I won't be back.

I went into Janet's Cakes a week before my daughter's first birthday party (whoops!) and they were SUPER accommodating! They were able to do cake, cookies, and cupcakes for us. Everyone loved the design and the taste! Highly recommend Janet's-- they did our wedding six years ago and were obviously the right choice to continue with them all these years later. Janet’s is the best! The cakes are beautiful and delicious. They are so easy to work with and really affordable. Every time I get a Janet’s cake for someone they absolutely love it and become customers themselves. My favorite is chocolate cake with almond frosting. Highly recommend! I used to love this place and rave about it to everyone. But unfortunately it's really gone down Hill recently. They keep very wierd hours andsay it's because of staffing. But when you go in, everybody was really rude. The woman helping me was short and i felt rushed. they don't want to put in any extra effort on any orders, So why bother which is such a shame because I used to get my Christmas cakes from them. And in all honesty, if they make their employees feel as unwelcome as they do their customers I can see why they're shorthanded

Quality, kindness, and amazing local business!We have ordered custom cakes from Janet's, and we've also picked up their small freshly pre-made layered cakes and let me tell you... That almond frosting is a game changer. You should get that every time.For anything custom, reach out a week in advance. But if you're last minute like me, those freshly made mini-cakes are amazing. And the staff is so kind and willing to write something simple on the top for you in the color of your choosing.If you want to try some of their other flavors before you commit, they have little cake sample squares you can purchase from the case. And call me high maintenance, but I now request my husband get all of my birthday cakes from Janet's!

For my wedding, I ordered a single tier cake and 150 cupcakes. The flavor was amazing! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I asked for half chocolate cupcakes and half white and I wanted the frosting for the white cupcakes to be one color and the frosting on my chocolate cupcakes to be another color, but it wasn’t the biggest deal in the world! Just a minor detail, everything else was great!
