6 years ago my dad and I started going to Jim's on Monday. I moved to Bloomington to be his caretaker. He loved Jim's and enjoyed dinner in the bar every Monday. We became regulars. As soon as we walked in, our martinis were being made. Cannot say enough about the love we felt from everyone. Stopped in this last Monday. Dad's been gone a year. They're family. Cannot say enough about everyone here. This is exactly what you want from a local business.
My husband went with my son and a colleague tonight, and I asked my husband to bring me home a lobster tail. I have dined at the restaurant before and it was awesome, but the takeout was also incredible! The chef is consistent and great! FYI I’m new from Chicago Suburbs and I appreciate a good joint like this!
It hurts me to write this review. This is not the Jim's I once knew. I was encouraged to get a certain cut and sides. I was unfortunately disappointed with the prime rib and the sides I had were terrible. The Brittany salad dressing was incredible.
I dont intend to visit again. An establishment I once bragged to everyone about. That I can no longer do.
