I'm never on this end of town so I don't visit this place often but we checked it out after a soccer game with family. It was too windy to sit outside but we sat inside and the service was prompt. I had the shrimp salad which was fresh and light and just what I needed after devouring the chips and salsa. I like that the salsa comes in a carafe so you can refill it yourself. The guacamole was good! I would recommend trying it.

Never had a bad experience here. Food always comes out quick and hot. Staff is great as well. It's always a spot I recommend for people coming to Bloomington.

I order steak Ranchero steak was dry and tough and Our server took are order, brought are food, and only returned once to bring the bill without asking if we would like anything else. This took place around 6pm and the restaurant was pretty empty so it gave me the inclination that we may have made a mistake. We might give it one more try but if it's a repeat of our last experience won't return.

I have never had a problem with the food here. The service is pretty decent. Plenty of tequila in the jumbo margs. The tequila shots are extremely small. $7 for 3/4 of an ounce.

I truly don't like leaving bad reviews, but with that being said as soon as you walk in, there is no smell of food being cooked, even so we decided to get some appetizers and a cocktail. The frozen margaritas were not frozen and the flavor was way to sweet more like syrupy. The chips were very greasy. I'm sure everyone has an off day, but I can say that It wouldn't be a place I would visit again.

I was there for a date , her and I both at first thought the food was fine... then realized it was not good, it didnt sit well in the stomach . very dissapointed in the food. we won't be going there next time, cool looking hang out, but the food is terrible. got a steak fajita .... not good. dry , and had upset stomach.

Bring El Toro back!!!!! The food was bland and not good. Service was fine, but the food wasn’t good at all, and it’s gotten worse every time I’ve gone. I miss El Toro so much! Please bring it back!!!
Excellent food and a wide variety of food on the menu. I had the Hawaiian fajitas. They had shrimp and chicken and I enjoyed it very much. Chips and salsa were good. I really like the salsa. Four other were with me and they all enjoyed their food. Good servers.

I really expected the same flavors that you find in most other Mexican restaurants. Surprisingly, it was much better! The chicken burrito was juicy and had almost a smokey taste. It was really fantastic, highly recommend! Located right next to Casper Brewing Company.
