We did carry out. Chicken dinner was excellent as always. As a birthday treat we did the berry pie. Big, juicy and great crust. Great pie bakers there!

Clean place. Server was a little slow. They don't have a kids' menu so there's no discount there. Food was good though.

Great "bar and grill" feel at the Parkview Inn. Nothing pretentious, and the wait staff is always very friendly. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

No straw broke this camel's continued patronage of this restaurant. Stopped in to have my usual order of what is arguably the best breaded pork tenderloin in Bloomington-Normal. Ordered iced tea and when served asked for a straw. I was informed that this restaurant no longer has straws. I explained that because my dental bridge was getting repaired, I needed a straw to avoid dribbling. Still no straw. I really don't know whether this management decision is a budgetary thing, a "green" thing or an attempt to earn a Michelin star. I just know I won't return until I've heard that they have reversed this goofy policy.Guess I'll just have to make the drive to Busy Corner more often.

I have been here several times in the past few years. They have consistently good food, prompt service, and a nice indoor and outdoor dining area. They have TVs over the bars for sports games and a gambling room.

Nice place for good beer and pizza. We ordered a thin crust BBQ chicken pizza and it was delicious.

Parkview Inn is located on historic Route 66 and has been in operation since 1925. Parkview Inn is the oldest restaurant in Bloomington, Illinois. Who doesn’t love traveling on the Mother Road especially when you can stop at to eat at restaurants along the route. Parkview Inn is located near Miller Park and the zoo.We were seated quickly upon entering the restaurant at one of the high top tables inside the restaurant. The have an outdoor patio area but it was too hot for that. We all decided on cheeseburgers and fries. We were starving so we were able to eat pretty much everything but a few fries. We plan to come back next time we are in town. #bucketlistKid-friendliness: Relaxed atmosphere

Stopped here for dinner. I had a cheese burger and fries. My hubby had the tenderloin sandwich and fries. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The service was great. Very attentive. The atmosphere was like a bar and grill but with a woodsy or cabin like feel. Clean and spacious. Lots of TV's with gaming near by. Average pricing. We will be coming back.

Absolute worst service took an hour to get one drink and an app our server was more worried about flirting with her regulars than anything got charged for things I didn’t order won’t be back

It was very warm inside. We asked the waitress to turn the ceiling fans on and she did and it started to feel much better. A few minutes later they were off. When our waitress came back we asked her what happened and she explained that the manager said fans just push hot air around. There was a pregnant waitress clearly uncomfortable who was sweating, and it was disappointing that the manager either didn't understand how fans worked, or didn't want to spend a dollar or two on having the fans running to make the place more comfortable. Will not return during the summer again. We left to go somewhere else to finish off our night instead of sitting in the uncomfortable building.Food was good.
