I want to give 5 stars because every time I ate here it was amazing. Unfortunately, things have changed. The famous signature sauce and the menu items do not taste the same. They have obviously cranked up business and now make items (like the pop up sauce) prepackaged and no longer fresh in a cup. Chicken and slaw tastes different too. I’m super bummed. I hope they go back to their authentic quality roots and not lean into quantity over quality. Long live the OG pop up sauce!!

When this shop did not have an official store , the chicken was very good. But now with the new shop, the chicken is very inconsistent. I've gone for more than 5 times now and there are times where the chicken is very bland. Sometime it is just awfully salty. They also changed their pop up chicken sauce (huge disappointment) the flavor have a very strong pickle after taste now. Overall hit or miss but still a good restaurant. I recommend Dave's Chicken if you can go to Urbana.

I got a chicken Asiago sandwich mild and onion rings. Both were aweome. The staff there are so kind. I got my order to go and thinking it might take a minute . I sat at the bar to try one of their draft beers. I got the orangescicle which was delicious!! The woman working behind the bar was awesomeDrafts are half off before 5. I think everyday. I could be wrong. But i will definantly be back to try the blueberry next time!

Our order was wrong... weird to give a five star review for that right?Long story short, there was miscommunication between ordering, and delivery, I'm sure it could have been loud, iNput wrong, whatever, but my veggie daughter ended up with a meat Sando.Not ideal, not detrimental. When she called to talk to someone, the person was not ... great. I was hugely disappointed.HOWEVER, when I emailed to let them know what happened, again, that likely it was a mistake, which happens, and told them about how my daughter was talked to, I was very impressed that I got a response the next day, apologizing for the less than stellar conversation my daughter had with the employee, assuring me that it was reviewed, and that it would be better handled in the future.I am huge on customer service. Thank you Pop-Up for stepping up and being a leader and addressing things when necessary.And, yes, we will absolutely be back, food is always amazing, even the Veggie Sando, which does NOT taste like "real chicken" but is still fantastic, even for me, a meat eater :)

The chicken was an absolute delight, boasting a delightful crunch and a tantalizing hot honey flavor that paired perfectly with the drizzle of maple syrup.Now, let's talk about that Mac and Cheese – it was divine! Creamy, cheesy, and downright indulgent, it easily secured the title of the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had.And the Street Corn? Equally impressive. Bursting with flavor, thanks to the addition of chopped red onions and tomatoes, it's a must-try.Despite the busy crowd, the service was exceptionally quick, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive our food in record time.This was undeniably the easiest 5 stars I've ever given a business. Finally, a place that lives up to the hype!My wife and I had a free day today (Sunday, March 24) so we loaded the dog up and made the half hour drive to give this place a shot. We arrived, I went in and placed our order: onion rings, street corn, a pound of wings, 2 piece tendos, a patty melt, and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. About $60 with tip.I'd been told that the food is ready surprisingly quick, but I was still shocked when everything was ready in under 15 minutes. Our order was 100% correct, so we chowed down.The patty melt was one of the best I've ever had and the wings are far superior to any other in the area, imo. My wife loved her tendos and only managed to eat one of the two. Seriously, they are pretty damn big.The sauces were absolutely killer. Don't skip on the pop up sauce. Also, do yourself a favor and grab a milkshake. The strawberry cheesecake shake was excellent.Hands down one of the best local spots. My wife and I will be repeat customers.

Never had in any sense a bad experience or bad food here. It has been a go to for us and we encourage everyone to experience one of the best places like this in the area. You might just Catch us out there showing off out front too! Excited to see the new location coming. And the specials are just out of this world!
