Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Bloomington

“let me start this off by saying i’ve been going to this popeyes since i moved here july of last year. it has always been the worst and for a time i started going to the one across town but they were no better. i was starting to lose hope for popeyes here in town but last night i went to give it another try, me and my boyfriend joked on the way there that they’re were only going to be doing mobile orders, they were gonna be out of chicken, or the whole staffed had walked out again (which did happen once when i was there). once we got to the speaker i was honestly taken back when i wasn’t met with the same hostile tone i normally am. the lady on the speaker was super nice even though i was rushing through my order. i could tell she was new so i slowed down and she was making sure she heard everything right and even read my order back to me! never have i ever had a nice popeyes worker let alone one that reads me back my order just to make sure its right. when i got to the window she was smiling and being extremely friendly which again i was shocked. i explained to her my past experiences there and she told me they had to fire everyone and get all new staff. when she told me that i was so happy to hear they were finally trying to make a change in the store. there was a short wait on the food which is typical but it was much shorter then it normally is. all the food was hot and all there. i’m extremely impressed. i have never written a review about this popeyes being bad. i have worked in fast food since i was 15 and understand that the way the management runs the store dictates how good the store is going to be. whatever you guys have changed please keep it up! i know so many other people who have stopped going to popeyes for the same reason. i will be going back and letting people know about this change! i really wish i would have asked for the employees name so she could get some praise but if you’re reading this girl THANK YOU!! you have single handedly changed my view on popeyes.“
