Rob Dob's Restaurant & Bar

No service. We made reservations on Valentines Day. We wanted to be stated and the female behind the bar blond with brands never even axknowleded us. We stood there for about 7 minutes. Still no acknowledgement. We also saw another couple sitting , they had waters. They were tired of waiting . Got up and put thier jackets on and were about to leave. That was our cue to leave. They walker out right behind us. So we will not be returning.

Recent visit had the walleye, coleslaw and fries my daughter the kids sirloin and salad she gets ice cream and I got the apple cinnamon dessert everything was tasty!

Micah was our waiter he was fabulous!! Also Kimberly was fantastic! Great atmosphere and experience. It was loud enough in there it drowned out my kids being loud. The food was fabulous. The au jus for the prime rib and creamy horseradish was super tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and good. My son's enjoyed the kids meals loved the chicken tenders and homemade ranch. The pretzel was like nothing I've tasted before it was like grilled and gave it a unique taste. My wife enjoyed a schnitzel dish off the octoberfest limited time menu and liked something different. The kids enjoyed their ice-cream that came with kids meal. For my son's birthday they offered him any dessert on menu he chose the octoberfest special German chocolate cake which was super moist cake with a rich frosting covered in coconut. Was a fabulous meal all the way around. If you have not been do not let all the cars in the parking lot scare you we thought the same with the kids but the place is huge with social distanced seating and all precautions followed so you can feel safe during covid. Do not miss out on this local gem of you are from out of town the chains you can find everywhere this is a one of a kind restaurant!

Went back had baby back ribs, coleslaw and loaded mashed. My daughter had the kids steak and fruit asking with ice cream and I had the flour less cake for dessert.

Was pretty good! I didn't care for the salad or the lemonade, but my other food was great! My only complaint was I ordered h20 w my lemonade, server brought out drinks, but not my h20, I had to ask her again for it, and I also asked for lemon w my h20, never got it, but when she took the table that sat after us, they got h20's and she literally asked them if they wanted lemon and brought it to them so I didn't care for that! But it was w.e. but I do recommend the place all in all! It is expensive, so bring your $

This was my first visit today; lunch with some clients. The atmosphere is very well done and the fireplace was cool ambiance. They were a little slow, and the bartender took care of us. The menu is not overwhelming, and the costs are in line for the quality of the experience. Two of us had salads, and the other had a wrap. Food was excellent. I am an old fashioned customer service guy, and their service did not disappoint. Extremely prompt, polite and patient. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

An upscale restaurant. We always stop by Rob Dobs when we visit Bloomington. We ate Lamb Chops, Onion Rings and a Sleigh Ride Martini. The wife and I love the Dobski's. The wife worked for Rob and Julie when she was a kid at one of their McDonalds in town.

The food is amazing!!! We had lamb chops, best ever drive from Chicago to come her for the lamb chops. I also had a sleigh ride. The best drink.

Our bill was very expensive and our food was barely edible to say the least. The asparagus and brussel sprouts were so soggy we couldn't even eat them. The halibut was so burnt my husband couldn't eat 1/4 of it. For $50 a plate we expect more. The service was great.

Had the Beef Stroganoff special - best in town. I hope they add it to their permanent menu. Our waitress Marilu provided excellent service as usual.

One of mine and my family's favorite places in all of Bloomington, Normal. Not only is the food absolutely fantastic, the staff there are one of a kind. They are some of the most friendliness and welcoming people. I highly recommend going and dinning at this wonderful place!

Food was great, and service was quick and attentive. My server Adam was very polite and helpful as well. I ordered the LA’s Punch, Calamari, and Italian Sausage Penne.
