Going to make this short and sweet. The wife and I went here on a Saturday evening before a hockey game, had reservations and got in with no problems. It's a beautiful place with high ceilings and lots of woodwork. The hostess was nice and our server was wonderful. They had a nice drink menu, so the wife had the Blood Orange Margarita and I went with a Sazerac. We both agreed the drinks were timely and tasty. The wife ordered a Black and Bleu burger and I went with the Gouda burger. No attempt at any kind of presentation (I know it's burgers). Both burgers were ordered medium and both were closer to well. Mine was so salty I didn't finish it, and the Mrs said hers was quite salty as well. Two burgers and two drinks $53 + tax & tip= $71.87 not even close to worth it.Will give it another try at another time and try something different.

Found this place by chance and thought it would be a fun place to try out. The fact that President Lincoln had been here also added to the atmosphere. It was like stepping back into history yet, still felt new! The food was simple.yet amazing, and the fries were an unexpected treat! I would recommend it to anyone in the Bloomongton area!

Excellent food but I'd get carryout in the future, as the service was meh at best.I was actually very disappointed in how inattentive our server was. We were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant. We were not told about any specials (we found out when the other server told her table). When I asked what kind of drink she would recommend she said "I'll get you the list"..It was so bad I had to find the server and ask for to go boxes and the check because it was clear that their focus was on the chips and not their customers. So again, great food, but when you're eating a $16 salad, its great to have a full glass of water ;)

Way beyond typical pub fare! Outstanding food -- burgers, salads, entrees, as well as the reigning Greatest Soup in the Universe, their made-from-scratch roasted pepper soup with garlic croutons. And as my wife will attest, the best Cosmopolitan in the entire state of Illinois.Parking: Evenings and weekends, the garage across the street is free and convenient.

I went here for dinner/drinks with friends. I had the burger and fries, amazing. I also had an espresso martini, it was good but a little strong. My friend ordered their cinnamon toast crunch martini, it was AMAZING. Service was great, great ambiance but a little small if you have a big group, we had 6 and it was a little cramped.
The only thing better than the food, ( which is amazing) is the staff. Friendly, laid back atmosphere. One of my favorite spots.

Black and blue burger is fantastic. Drinks are ok. Your standard American/ Irish bar.
Great spot in downtown Bloomington. Went here for dinner before a concert and was not disappointed with the food, drinks, or service.
