Finally I have time to make the review about this wonderful restaurant.
Since the first time I have visited here, I have zero complaint š«
The food is always satisfying - I usually get the lunch box menu or beef bulgogi or dolsot bibimbab! They are delicious.
The staffs are always welcoming and friendly; even Mama (the cook) often greets me and the other customers too when she is done in the kitchen.
The side dish is always great, plus I also order Gimmari and just love it so much!
If you have dietary, you can always customize it too - I have one friend coming here and she loves how she can get tofu soup (soondubu) and kimchi.
The parking is always available!
I just wish the space of the restaurant is bigger because during the busy hours, it has more customers and sometimes it needs to wait for not that long. But it worths the wait for sure and you can reserve too.

Soul mama is the spot for Korean food fr!!, the food is soo good and the staff are kind, I was served by Sori and she was just amazing!!! Definitely coming back

When I went to Soul Mama, I had the best experience ever! As a Kenyan, I havenāt had much exposure to Korean food, but Soul Mama completely changed that. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere made the whole experience so special.
All ten waiters are so freindly, like there is was this waitress I think she is called Sori she was so kind , and attentive. Like giving me a explanation of the different food I didnāt know about!She made us feel truly welcome and took such good care of us throughout the meal. The entire waitstaff was warm .
I loved it so much that Iām already planning to bring all my friends there next weekend. Seoul Mama, youāve got a loyal customer now. Iāll definitely be back!

One of the few great restaurants in Bloomington, great Korean food and fast service, not the cheapest meal but definitely worth the price. Recommendations include vegetable pancake, japchae with extra bulgogi, and order a side of the pickled radish

I loveeee Seoul Mama! The only restaurant with the most authentic korean food iāve had in the US. my cousin and I visited Korea sometime back and nowhere else has come close to good, original Korean food like this restaurant. You guys are doing amazing!!! It feels like home every time I go there, such a cozy spot haha. Recommended this place to my coworkers and they LOVED it. Canāt wait to come in next time. All the servers are super attentive, service is 10/10 minus nothing!

POSSIBLE FOOD POISONING
I usually have a wonderful experience every time I came to Seoul Mama, from the food taste to the staffās service, but not this time.
For 3 days straight from Sunday night after I went back from Seoul Mama, I have a severe stomach ache.
It happens after I ordered a kimchi fried rice.
Please make sure that either the food ingredients, the preper, or the cook done a careful food handling process.
And I see that 1 of your staff have been behaving weird at the time when I came with 2 of my friends. The one that I mention is the young Korean girl.
Usually sheās the one who always serve us most of the time. But not on that day.
Coincidentally, she was at the kitchen by the time I was waiting for my order. I have a bad suspicion that she might try to poison me and my friends in our order.
Do a thorough evaluation to all of your staff who works in the kitchen. Especially this girl. I think her name is Sori.
Initially, I wanted to rate 1 star, but I decided to gave 2 because 2 other staffs who served us were excellent.

A casual little restaurant with authentic Korean food. I would highly recommend the Ttukbaegi Bulgogi. It has the most wonderful aroma and flavor. Itās a soothing broth with meat, vegetables, and noodles that is served with a separate bowl of rice. You can get it not spicy or add spice, but it is so flavorful that the spice is really not necessary (unless thatās your preference). Good service too!
