Super JJ Fish & Chicken

We shared the half chicken dinner came with a breast, thigh, leg and wing. We also had the large order of cheese sticks! This hole in the wall place had the best juiciest chicken I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely be coming back (: I recommend the lemon pepper seasoning on the chicken!!

Cashier/cook was nice and the food was delicious!! Wish they had at least 1 table for indoor dining. Great establishment though. I don't know why the rating isn't higher.

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. I observed that one of the workers was not following basic hygiene practices – he wasn’t wearing gloves or a hair covering, which is concerning in a food establishment. Additionally, when I inquired about the oil being used, he mentioned that the same oil had been used for multiple days. When I questioned this, he became defensive and argued with me. I believe it’s important for all staff to follow health and safety standards to ensure customer well-being. I hope management addresses these concerns seriously and ensures that proper food handling practices are in place.

For the price they charge for 2 orders of 6 wings $28.75 is unacceptable especially if the food is not fresh even if you ask them to make it fresh and give a tip . I’m very disappointed to get some re-drop chicken and fries.

Lemon pepper was great the mild sauce was good too. I really liked the fish and the wings, and I love their fries. service was on time and guy was nice.

I've been here atleast three times over a span of 3 years. Each time it gets worse. First off take "original from Chicago" away from your name. Chicago has J&J fish not jj's, secondly stop passing off knockoff fish. I ordered catfish and I was giving some flea market brand fish that was NOT catfish. I can only assume that because your restaurant is in a lower class area you feel that you can get away with this! I will order again only to inform the health dept/States attorney on y'all that's how pissed I am.

The food is good but a little pricey In my opinion the prices on lunch specials should be the all day prices. Food is good but need to either reduce prices a lil more or give a lil more food. I get it about inflation but I think y'all can do better

Worse chicken in all of bloomington I just ordered food less than a hour ago and it's horrible. Chicken not fried hard like I asked fish sandwich horrible but the hush puppies are ok. I will NEVER eat here again thumbs down. Horrible Establishment.

Never order ahead because it makes no difference. The order will not be started until you arrive. The place will be dead, but it still takes 15 minutes for an order called ahead of time. Please close and stop ripping off your customers.

Also, this location is filthy! It's so bad I'm reporting it to the city. Do NOT eat this dirty fried frozen food. Also, they use the same fryer for anything. If you like chicken that tastes like fish... Go for it.

Ordered catfish nuggets on Doordash. The box was loaded, extreme value and good fish, fries are good, came with two sauces, tastes like a mix of ketchup and bbq.
